I was reading The Titans Curse (third Percy Jackson book) When Thalia mentions Green Day at this like school dance thing because Grover had picked Jesse Mcartney. I was like ohmygod Green Day in one of my favorite books!!! Then grover says "Green Who?" and I got all pissed off at him. One day I was watching T.V and the 2010 (maybe 2009) X Games came on and at that part of the show the song Restless Heart Syndrome started playing. I started freaking out. I was also watching Suite Life On Deck one day when the character Marcus was talking about taking one of his songs or something to broadway like Green Day, then Zach said "Green Day is one of the most popular bands, you just wrote a song about a girl with bad teeth." And I screamed out American Idiot!!!! Yes I am weird n_n

I get excited every time someone says good riddance When I was learning about Animal Farm in school, every time propaganda was mentioned I thought about Green Day. And one day we were having a silent work day in English, and my teacher said she was going to play music by The Vitamin String Quartet (I think that is what they are called) and she played Green Day songs that they did
