Green Day References

When the St Billie announcement was made recently, I saw various articles referring to the "Green Day singer returning to Broadway".

Singer is such an inadequate description!!!

This week I said to the one of the costumers what he or she had to pay. I read €10,39 and in my head I wanted to say "Smoothed out slappy hours!" Lame.

And this is not a Green Day reference, but I was watching Modern Family a couple days ago (cause it was on after Glee ended..) and there was a part where two of the characters were waiting in their cars, waiting for the traffic light to turn green. They opened their windows, and started talking louder and louder. Then it went like this "'What did you say?" "If I start talking louder I'm going to SHOUT" "What?" "Shout." "Heeey Heey." Ahaha, I was laughing so much, I was imagining Billie singing Shout while he was driving his car.

At my school, the colors are green and gray, and since we're running on the block schedule, we have gray days and green days.

Needless to say, I have the best classes on a Green Day.

I was in the car this morning looking out of the window. We were in an industrial area and lots of different companies were there. Furniture, car company, than i came across a sign saying Armstrong, i kept going but then i did a double take and noticed it properly.

I dont know if anyone else noticed, In Transformers (1) in the dudes room theres a nimrod poster that says green day with the band in black/white. (right of picture)

edit:on the sides of the poster, theres picture of people with (nimrod) on them, also black/white

Today at Old English Literature class our teacher read Act 2 Scene 2 part of Romeo and Juliet.I don't remember which line it was but Juliet says ''What's in a name?''.That reminded me of Fashion Victim.Though I don't like Shakespeare this was an awsome reference.

I just had to watch a PSA on plagiarism in one of my classes. In the middle of the video, a picture of Green Day pops up and the voiceover guy starts talking about how Green Day was accused of plagiarism by an English rock band. As soon as their picture came up everyone in the room turned to look at me...
