Sooo, today while I was waiting for my turn in the academic services queue, there was this guy (also waiting) outside... And he was playing songs on his guitar, when I got there he was playing and singing "Summer of 69", then, he played "I'm Yours", but totally fucked up the lyrics and ended up with na na na naaa naaa LOL and out of key... He went to some Portuguese funny songs and started playing Boulevard of Broken Dreams, at that time everyone in the queue was laughing out laud, and I had the biggest smile in my face. He was doing his own version of the song, in portuguese, he was like "Today is Thursday, and I'm gonna (insert funny stuff, but in portuguese) ... ahhh ahhh, ahhh ahhh, ahh ahh, ah ah."

That totally made my whole freshman week at the University

I went to the supermarket with my Grandma today and there was this girl with a Green Day 2009 tour shirt walking out the door as I was walking in. I did a double-take and then kinda got jealous...

I was going through my friend's dvd's with her, we were trying to find something to watch. She calls me over and shows me International Supervideos that had been stashed away in their cupboard. They got it for $4 at a garage sale.

I was at my cousins and her friends were over. Conversation went something like this:

Jess: So what bands are you into?

Jess: Oh I saw them in December, they were so good!

Then laterr this jasmine girl starts singing Warning, so I join in A little later, she starts singing Know Your Enemy, so I come in at "Well gotta know the enemy RAHHH EYYY!!" After this I find out her brother is having some kind of event (didnt really catch what it was) and they are singing Warning and Know Your Enemy at it.

Thought it was pretty sweet to stumble across, maybe not a massive fan, but a fan nonetheless
