As for me, the credibilitly of the Grammys DIED this year when Robert Plant & Alison Krauss won a bunch of Grammys for a record and songs I've never heard of. I mean, I don't know what was going on in the US that time around, 'cause they (the people who decide who's winning) obviously rely on the sucess (?) the nominees had in the USA, but I just can't understand why they won (especially against Coldplay *cough*).

Which, actually, could be the reason why GD could get nominated and win. We all know how amazing the album is and I'm pretty sure they WILL be nominated for something, so let's hope that there are a lot of GD fans in that jury :wink:

Gaga is not eligible for Best New Artist (Just Dance was nominated last year) and I am Sasha Fierce got very mixed reviews as an album overall. Single Ladies will probably take ROTY, but 21 Guns is a great song and is very Grammy friendly

Green Day Vs U2, I think both bands are great, I think 21st CB is better than No line on the Horizon, Its time Green Day beat U2 in these awards. U2 have enough Grammys anyway.

well, the award shows definitely rely on album sales unluckily.:/

but well, 21cb wasn't as successful as AI in this case that's what makes me worry.
