Alan86 Posted December 6, 2009 Posted December 6, 2009 I think Static age has a good chance of being a single since they play it at every showIm still hoping ot will be Viva la gloria (little Girl) or Restless Heart Syndrome though.
-Billiejoezee- Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 Something tells me American Eulogy is next.
Soroush Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 before the lobotomy will be a single for sure
Tubbie Head Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 Maybe Static Age.. hmmm Idk about Before the Lobotomy, maybe.. I just would love Little Girl or Peacemaker as a single, oh wellSomething tells me American Eulogy is next.I would approve that one
pisquano Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 I'd say The Static Age would be a good song and a good commercial success.
Metanoia Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 Peacemaker or Reastless Heart Syndrome oooor........ ?Viva La Gloria? (Little Girl)
sampy Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 Yea Peacemaker is like a dream come true, but I don't think they're doing it to a single. :/ Static Age will be great single, I think. =) If it's going to be but I really hope and believe that it is. It's a great song with great lyrics and catchy melody and chorus !
Sanity Loan Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 I don't think we will see or hear anything about a new single for a while. Here in the US, EJN is just starting to come on and I think it would be smart to let that song just run it's course. Its strange that 21 Guns come out in JUNE and now 6 months later a new song is finally starting to come out. That is a long time in between singles.
Juliette Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 I've lost track of what single is out where & when already :/
janiliz06 Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 I would like little girl or EJN.but who knows..they have become very unexpected.. I mean I didnt expect 21CB as a single at all. and I didnt like it at first but now it grow on meand I like the video.
HoneyDo666 Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 I haven't heard EJN on the radio yet, but the song is climbing the rock chart! The video needs to be played more, that's what sky-rocketed the 21 Guns video.
Tubbie Head Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 I just think they released the 3 singles too close to each other! And now we'll be waiting for ever and ever for a new one...And I don't really care what's the next one, 'cause what I really wanted was Little Girl or Peacemaker as singles, and that's not going to happen =(Btw, Do you think the promoters/label are the ones who choose the singles or it's THE band? I'd currently like The Static Age yeah, I wouldn't mind eithter, it's one of my favorites from the album, and has that catchy element!I bet it's going to be the next single.. But it could also be Before the Lobotomy
Jimmy Strummer Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 I have no idea what the next single will be, but I will tell people to look at the pattern of singles for American Idiot and how they closely mirror the pattern of singles for 21st Century Breakdown.American Idiot + Know Your Enemy: up-tempo, anti-something song.Boulevard + 21 Guns: slow stadium quiet-verse-loud-chorus anthem.Holiday + East Jesus Nowhere: another anti-something, shuffle-tempo song.Wake Me Up + ??????: slow-building stadium anthem.Sooooooo possibly either Restless Heart Syndrome or maybe Before The Lobotomy? Or even Last Night On Earth.

If EJN and/or 21CB finally take off, then I think we will see RHS or maybe (a long-stretch) LNOE... but if they don't, then I think we will see an up-tempo song such as The Static Age, Before the Lobotomy (with the ballad intro cut out), or Horseshoes and Handgrenades
NickD Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 Can we stop thinking that Restless Heart Syndrome, Viva La Gloria (Little Girl) or Peacemaker will be choices for the next single. It wont be. They've only them live very, very seldom(if at all) since the albums release (Actually, it might have been before the actual release-date that they were last played) They've never released a single that they don't play live. There's a reason they don't play em.There's two songs it will likely be out of, Static Age or Before the Lobotomy. And then a very slim chance of: Last Night on Earth or American Eulogy

I loved every single bit of it. You really sum my feelings up... i had no idea how to say them

Doesn't make sense what you said..

Singles are also played at every show, and which songs are played at every show? Before the lobtomy and the static age.
