I would love to see Horseshoes and Handgrenades as a single, with a sweet video . . however, I think The Static Age has the potentiel to be a hit. If 21st Century Breakdown was released in 2006/2007 as opposed to 2010, it would have been HUGE. People's musical interests have changed alot since 2005, and most teenage girls are listening to shit metal and cry baby emo instead of Green Day . . and I say GOOD

I know the chances for another single are nil but I would have LOVED Viva La Gloria (Little Girl) to have been the next one! I can see my version of the music video all in my head; grainy, black and white (kind of like the beginning of Moulin Rouge just a little bit) and bunch of other stuff that would take me forever to explain.

It was my favorite song on the album.

I think it's time to give 21CB a rest at this point, before Warner decides to release everything else on the album as a (badly-promoted) single. The tour has done great in spite of how awful Warner's album promotion has been -- let's enjoy the rest of it this year, then time for the guys to take a few months or a year off to recover from that, and then let's see what's new that they've been working on, I hope sometime in the 2011-2012 timeframe.

I remember hearing EJN on the radio while I was driving around in Oakland last year and being so pissed off when they censored part of the record. And I so agree, huge missed opportunity with EJN. Love this song.

And yes I kinda agree with Bastard_of_)1967, it may be time to give 21CB a rest if the record company isn't going to promote it strongly. Sad, but true.

I'm still hoping for a proper video of East Jesus Nowhere. That song deserves an amazing video, not just a concert footage video. I mean, the concert footage one was nice, but a proper video should be made.
