Soroush Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 I wish there is another single and video... but green day has done a lot of strange things about 21CB. so I won't be shpcked even if the next single is "song of the century"
Maddy. Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 next single is Viva La Gloria 07/11/2010 And you just ~know this because?
greendepent Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 American Eulogy Agreed, and that song will win
PunkRocks and Coke Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 I would go with peacemaker but viva la gloria [little girl] is my favorite song its just that when they make a vid for my fav song its like it becomes everyones fav and its not my fav anymore yea,..... lol
E!!i Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 I wish there is another single and video... but green day has done a lot of strange things about 21CB. so I won't be shpcked even if the next single is "song of the century" that would be the worst shit ever I would go with peacemaker but viva la gloria [little girl] is my favorite song its just that when they make a vid for my fav song its like it becomes everyones fav and its not my fav anymore yea,..... lol does that make any sense? whatever^^ I would have released them in this order: 1. iViva La Gloria! - perfect introduction to the 21st era, and the whole Gloria/Christian story 2. 21 Guns - epic song and the most successful single off Breakdown 3. Peacemaker - totally left-field but with some promo I think it could have been a hit 4. Restless Heart Syndrome/Last Night On Earth - either one would have been great 5. East Jesus Nowhere this is my order: 1) 21st Century Breakdown 2) East Jesus Nowhere 3) 21 Guns 4) Horseshoes and Handgrenades 5) The Static Age
Maddy. Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 -East Jesus Nowhere -Peacemaker -American Eulogy -Before The Lobotomy -The Static Age (-Last Night On Earth) Fuck yeah I should be their manager.
dumbell2424 Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 If we consider EJN as an official single, considering the music video, shall we go ahead and say Last night on earth, Murder City, and somewhat American Eulogy are singles too since they were the same Chris Dugan style video?
belinda jane Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 I haven't gone through posts, but did anyone actually consider LOTAG being the last single off 21CB?
gdpony Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 I think LOTAG will be the last single ... im pretty sure about it! what a shame the singles havent been so popular
Saint Jimmyy Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 I think that it would be amazing with Static Age, but I can't really see a video for it in my head.. but I could for Viva La Gloria, and gee, what a cool video in my head.. I've got a cool video for East Jesus Nowhere in my head too.. damn how I wish for a proper video for that, instead of the live-thingy-thing-thing.. It has not been released as a music video yet. Green Day had plans of making a video but never got around to it. It has been released to the radio stations though.
LadyPeacemaker20 Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 It would be kind of cool to see American Eulogy or Peacemaker done.
The Disappearing Boy Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 I think it is 90% certain there will be no more singles from breakdown.
Tiffx Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 I think LOTAG will be the last single ... im pretty sure about it! what a shame the singles havent been so popular Yeah it makes me sad, but at the same time rock music in general has declined in popularity in mainstream music. I was really hoping they would release American Eulogy though. I think that would've been a better choice instead of LOTAG.
ProstheticHeads Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 ^ I don't know, I think both songs are about the same level...but you have to consider a video for it would be pretty hard to think of.
Metanoia Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 im still holding my believe on christians inferno or !viva la gloria! because of the rock band songs we got so far.....
pisquano Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 I think that if there is another single from this album, It might be !Viva la Gloria!, since it has been played a few times on BBC radios recently...
Vrock09 Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 I think it is 90% certain there will be no more singles from breakdown. I think so too.. But I would love for Viva La Gloria! to be a single, but I doubt it
Sheehan Rysa Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 I think they should do Horseshoes and Handgrenades or Peacemaker. Viva La Gloria would also be fine.
ElisaHave Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 Horseshoes and Handgrenades would be AWESOME!!! but i think Murder City, cause like a "continue" to Last of the American girls:)
Katarina. Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 I think it is 90% certain there will be no more singles from breakdown. I think so too. Though I really hope they'll release Murder City as the follow up of LOTAG, or maybe American Eulogy or The Static Age! But there are quite a few singles already, so I doubt it will happen.. If only songs like Peacemaker made it as a single..
SetOnOverdrive Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 I think there won't be on but I always thought when i first heard the album that !Viva La Gloria! would be one? I'd like horseshoes and handgreades though.
OliDayyy Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 It has been a total mess with the singles off 21st CB, so I wouldn't be surprised if we had other singles I mean, they don't even play LOTAG, so, everything's possible!
