Why does the church have such a problem with people standing up for their beliefs when they differ from theirs?

Cause Church wants people to believe in God, but they're mostly scaring them with "if you don't do this, you are all doomed to hell". They don't want you to stand up for your own beliefs or even THINK about different sides of religion. And people believe in this stuff or want to, just because they're scared of the afterlife. Church thinks it's doing everything right, and they do it in the name of God/Jesus.

So I guess this priest is so into loving God he finds everything offensive and thinks today's world is so corrupting, so he probably thought he's doing this (ranting about American Idiot) for your own good, so you'll change your ways, stop listening to "offensive" music and in the end go to heaven.

Damn, everything today can be offensive, even if it isn't. This priest of yours needs to lighten up.

HE SHOULD WATCH THAT SOUTH PARK EPISODES WHERE CARTMAN IS THE LEADING THE KIDS INTO SALVATION.

Wow...........this has got me wondering what he thinks of Lil Wayne songs or Soulja Boy songs....I find those WAY more degrading and offensive than American Idiot. I mean, I get why AI can be offensive to some, but it actually has an important meaning behind it. It's actually not as offending if you actually look into it more, at least that's what I think.
