LetItBeHappy Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 This song always brings into question the pronunciation of the word "twenty" I'm with Billie and not the cast. Twunny, damn it! Lol. In any case, this recording is so beautiful. I hope they put out of the entire OBC recording when the show hits broadway. maybe is like Another Brick in the Wall, where the kids sang "education" with a different pronunciation. Still, I learnt english with Billie, so I agree with him xD And the song is just so beautiful
GreenDayaremyGods Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 OMG IT'S FUCKING AMAZING!!! It literally sent shivers up my spine I really really love how it's sounding and makes me 10000 times more excited to see the musical when it comes out!!
LilyMarie Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 It's beautiful. Weird to hear a girl at first, but her amazing voice won me over.
Blond-O-Sonic Shimmer Trap Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 Fuck, on first listen this sounds terrible. It sounds like a cover that the robot clones from the X Factor would do after winning the show and getting a Christmas no.1. It even has the awful pitch change at the end that EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM HAS. If that were to happen in real life with a Green Day song I would lose all faith in humanity, so I don't like this giving me any idea of what that travesty would sound like. Don't like the female vocals on it either (Apart from Nobody Likes You, which is sung by a female on the album anyway). Doesn't work for me at all, nice of them to try n pull it off but it didn't work. I'd still go and see it if it came near here though probably.
heartscollide Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 hmm... am I the only one that doesn't really like it?? Well... that guys voice is fucking amazing, but I just don't like what they have done with the song, especially the background stuff. :/ And the pronouncing of 21 doesn't sound right...

packers182 Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 I like it a lot because it reminds me of the amazing AI musical
Tiffx Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 That was beautiful. I love the girls voice and the choir, particularly the 'did you' bit.
Michael128 Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 I've only listened to the first like 5 seconds. It's brilliant. Where can I download it?
Drink Drank Punk Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 I thought it was a really good cover up until when Green Day started playing...I hate to say it but I think they ruined it.
heartscollide Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 Billie's voice is incredible in this. When did Billie's voice show up?
HoneyDo666 Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 ^ Why? It's so beautiful! The whole thing is perfect!
Velocity Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 When did Billie's voice show up? That's not him? It sounded like him.
heartscollide Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 ^ Why? It's so beautiful! The whole thing is perfect! whaaaat? I'm so confused. I was pretty certain Billie didn't even sing in this.
Whatsername1533 Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 ^ Billie sang the second verse and second chorus. I thought the whole song was amazing. I love the girls voice and Billie's singing was a perfect touch.
thoroughlyme Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 I thought it was a really good cover up until when Green Day started playing...I hate to say it but I think they ruined it. I agree, I wish it had just been the cast with Green Day playing the instruments, that would have made it perfect!
HoneyDo666 Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 That's not him? It sounded like him. Yep it was his beautiful timbrous tenor! 2nd verse and 2nd chorus!
Sarahnade. Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 It's all I've listened to since I came home from school. I'm still listening to it; I just think it's so fantastic. Rebecca has one hell of a voice, and I love how her and Billie sound together. And the ending is great, the choir sound. And the 'did you' part is awesome. I love how slow it starts; how the first verse is with violens and not guitars, and the drums come in with Billie. It's just really put together well.
heartscollide Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 Yep it was his beautiful timbrous tenor! 2nd verse and 2nd chorus! what??! Really? Did he suddenly get a different voice or something. I SWEAR that's not him. It's sounds completely different. :/
Mistress.Kate Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 Billie joe for producer of the year I'd vote for that!
