Allie90 Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Yeah, I agree it is Billie. I just think he sounds a bit different than usual, kind of boyish. But then again, it's just me I agree with you. He sings a bit different here. That's why at first I thought it a cast member singing
Robin105 Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 I'm going to be a little negative but I didn't like that version at all. The best part was when Billie was singing. I'm not a fan of musicals. It's a good song though but I didn't like it.
Nele Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 yea i really know that, i just came to this topic after little break for reading these messages and i saw somebody saiyng that he's not billie =DD so that's why i said that okay. =) Shhh Nele. I brought that up It's Billie. End of discussion Haha, well, I was just asking.
Bastard of 1967 Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 I loved the song when I first heard it on the album but the video killed it for me, I stopped listening to it as well, the live version though made me fall back in love with it, I love how they perform it live, but I also love how it's been interpreted for the musical, I love listening to someone else's take on songs I *love* the callbacks between the lead and backing vocals during the non-choral refrains. "ONE - (one) - Twenty-one Guns"..... I think that highlights and fits perfectly with the conversational theme of the song that Billie originally intended when he wrote it. And the soft, quiet female lead vocal finishing off the last verse of the bridge "...from a stone......" So different from the studio track and yet so, so good.
Brandon R. Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Incredible. What else can I say? Ya know this is what pushing musical boundaries is all about.

kvnie Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 This has the potential to do really well as a single.
Robin105 Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 well.....you still have a great avatar. lol. All credit goes to you for taking that pic. Idk I mean it's a good song but the only part I really liked was when Billie was singing. I thought the rest of it especially the beginning was kind of boring. Idk maybe if I listen to it over and over maybe it will begin to grow on me. Actually now that I think of it the rest of the song was alright, it was the beginning I didn't care for to much. I'll still take it if someone posts a download link.
Kona Town Rocker Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 OMG it was beautiful i am truely amazed by it. if anyone somehow got the mp3 rip of it pm me i would love to have it till the official release

RogueBreakdown Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 EPIC, just EPIC! I love how the AI guys are backing Billie at the part with "one twenty one guns" Just absolutely beautiful. I can't wait to hear this on the radio!!!!!!!!!!
Mrs. Nobody Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 This is too good man Nah, i'm not repeating myself =P But yeah, I was expecting this to be brilliant, and i'm not disappointed Has to be said, first time round I didn't think it was Billie ;D

Marie_GD Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Wait, some people can hear the beginning of Letterbomb at the end? I've tried both .com and .co.uk spinner and I can't hear that on either.....

Mrs. Nobody Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Wait, some people can hear the beginning of Letterbomb at the end? I've tried both .com and .co.uk spinner and I can't hear that on either..... same, but it doesn't really matter (to me anyway)
Mato Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 whoa that was amazing can't wait to hear the full version
GDM Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 I think a lot of fans are going to have a problem with the musical. it's the nature of musicals vs. rock. It's bound to happen. You should have read my review! I had all kinds of issues with it, but in the end, I actually really enjoyed it. I felt awful criticizing it, too, since a lot of people absolutely loved it, but I was in theater way too long to say I like something when there are obvious issues that I had with it. It's not everyone's cup of tea, that's for sure.
Tom114 Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 i have it ,if you want please PM me ! but please buy it (in Dec.22)! thank you ! 1 hour later I will be editing post~
dolce Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 BTW, the guy singing is absolutely Billie. His voice is just a little deeper than in the original version. I thought his voice in general sounded a little higher for the entire 21CB album, so I like hearing him sing deeper.
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Omg I love it  If anyone's got a download, please PM or something? Pleeaase? Although I have to admit I like the 'live' one from the original musical better But it's still pretty damn awesome. Although there's one part where it sounded kinda out of place in the live one, but it's better in this one. I maybe have to get used to the fact that it sounds so perfect. And that Billie's in it. And I'm sooo gonna let this hear to my mom. She's very much into musicals so eh
sampy Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 whoa that was amazing can't wait to hear the full version i think this is full version on spinner.com ?

HoneyDo666 Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 I can't stop listening to it! It's amazing! I love it even more than the original, and I never thought I'd find a more beautiful song! Absolutely breathtaking! OMG  Christmas #1 hit. xD Definitely, and we can make it a hit on VH1's Top 20 Countdown!
