ANJI Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 thank you and the question here is that which one is original? with it or without it?!! Ive seen a video for this song in the musical...and they had the nobody likes you part at the end...so i'm assuming thats the original?
Eirik Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 I've heard it three times now, no "Nobody Likes You"...
Marlon_GD Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 I find it just so and so... Don't know... I liked the falsetto. And it isn't there anymore. Could be done better, me thinks... but it's fine, I guess.

justcause Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Part of what makes 21 Guns so beautiful to me is that it's so stark and simple - it's this place of desolation where the flame of hope is the only thing left. This version doesn't work for me - there's just too much going on in terms of orchestration, choral stuff, and the 'did you', 'when you' thing just sucks imo. I'm bearing in mind that is theatrical stuff I'm listening to, and that it probably fills out the song in a rousing way onstage - but it's just not my cuppa tea, I guess.
