The Disappearing Boy Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 does anyone know when the interview scenes were filmed?
Brian Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 I remember the day i got it. It was a rainy day. Listened to it on the ride home and watched the video portion with my mom. Great times.
Nikki_Nimrod Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Happy anniversary BIAB! I got this on my birthday, which is about a week after it came out. I remember being so excited I didn't even want to open the rest of my presents until after i'd watched it! I can't believe it's already been four years. It's such a great DVD, It really shows off how brilliant they are as performers. & the backstage stuff is awesome! I love all the interviews too. I had no clue how amazing live music can be 'till I saw this!
Tubbie Head Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 my first ever green-day related product. good times.i'm officially a 'bullet in a bible' fan. how cool is that.same here Oh how I love this dvd... You can say that Sam Bayer isn't a good producer, you can say it should be just a concert without interviews and stuff in the middle, that they shouldn't have cut so many songs... You can say whatever you want, but I really love it, everything about it!
saintcarlos Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 I bought it and wrapped it and put it underneath my Christmas tree, JK.i bought it the day it came out, had to go to two different best buy's to find it!! i cant recall the first time i watched it

Chelsea Hotel Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Bullet in a Bible! I remember buying this a couple months after it came out, watching it in the living room, and my mom walking in just as Billie started masturbating. Good times.
Tiffx Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Ah I remember buying this a couple of days after it was released. Well I don't remember going to the store because my memory sucks, but I remember watching it straight away. It was amazing.Wish I had time to watch it today. I haven't watched it in ages, like years.
gabbag Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Bullet in a Bible! I remember buying this a couple months after it came out, watching it in the living room, and my mom walking in just as Billie started masturbating. Good times.Haha perfect part to walk in on I watched it a few weeks after I got it when I was home sick and my mom was asking to watch it with me but I didnt watch it with her and then when I was watching it I was like thank god I didnt watch this with my mom, it would get quite awkward
Sarahnade. Posted November 16, 2009 Author Posted November 16, 2009 Bullet in a Bible really is the best thing since sliced bread!
gone2pasalacqua Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 FOUR YEARS AGO?!? wow that blows my mind. i remember the day i got it vividly! it was about a month after i saw them for the first time and my mom had pre-ordered it so it came in the mail the day it was out. my best friend made me wait until the next day to watch it with her but i secretly watched the very very beginning when they come out and play the 2001 a space odyssey theme but then i shut it off because we needed to watch it together but yeah, in middle school we used to watch BIAB and international supervideos like every weekend. tre's little part kills me. i remember that we had a huge paper with all the funny things from BIAB written on it, i think i still might have it somewhere. one of my favorite parts that really stands out to me is i think during dearly beloved of JOS when bj is waving hands with the crowd and they put it in slow motion. bullet in a bible kills me. i love it so much.
amy_runs Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 I remember seeing commercials for this before it came out. I wanted it for Christmas, but by the time Christmas came, I didn't want it anymore. So my brother got it instead.I took it one day to watch it, and it has been in my possession ever since
burnout_13 Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 I recall the first time I watched it, on the day it came out, my mum went and bought it for me It took me about three and a half years to actually manage to find myself on it though. During JOS when Billie walks back up the catwalk on the line "for lack of a better word or that's my best excuse" I can see a 13 year old me clinging to the barrier and singing along haha.

I'll have to watch that part and see if I can find you.
leacalifornia Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 wow 4 years already??I love this DVD....
HoneyDo666 Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 My mom got it for me 4 years ago today I'm looking at it right now! It really is the bestest!
Greenday_Aussie Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 Wow. I owe this DVD half my life. If I never watched it, I would have started playing guitar, which lead to many things. But overly, sealed my love for GD! I swear this came out in December?! Man was I late to the party!
Velocity Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 I remember buying this about 3 months after it came out. I don't have any idea why I waited that long to get it, silly 14-year-old me. I remember the first time I watched the DVD was the day my baby cousin was born. Just as it was ending, when Billie was playing Good Riddance, my uncle called me to say that she'd been born. Now I'll forever associate the BIAB version of Good Riddance with her birth.
newsflash777 Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 Bullet in a Bible will always have a special place in my heart.I remember I got it and watched it everyday for a week straight.Oh god, words can't explain how much it means to me.
XBlade1X Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 I got this on one of my birthdays ages ago and I watched it over and over again. I feel like watching it now Happy Birthday BIAB!!!
Miss Hedgie Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 Happy Birthday BIAB.I remember I had to wait till christmas day for you. Then I wasn't allowed to watch it.What made me sadder that was my recent ex bf at the time was in the ST. Jimmy vid at the front of the cat walk. However that aside I love the Tre moments...especially"Why are there no clouds in the sky?""Because God wants to watch his favourite band again!"
