I am not the biggest fan of the Kaiser Chiefs and found them kind of annoying but I do like all the other opening bands they had and would have rather seen one of them.

Prima Donna were good....I felt sorry for them that hardly anyone was rocking out to their songs...

I like The Bravery's music and all - I knew most of what they played, but they didn't have much in the way of stage presence. I felt kinda bad for them because it seemed like nobody really knew who the hell they were and were just waiting for them to go away so Green Day would take the stage - but it seems like they could have worked a little harder to involve the crowd, get people excited, something. Though, I don't really have any good suggestions for what they could have done.

Sam did crack a pretty amusing joke about how they were going to name their new album 'Chinese Democracy' and beat Axl Rose to the punch by a few months.

I saw The Bravery and they weren't very good, but I felt bad that no one knew their songs...Everyone was just waiting for Green Day! When they came on the whole arena exploded with excitement!

I hate Franz Ferdinand, well good thing I missed them at my show....(I was almost late seeing Green Day though, because of my sister and my cousin )

i didnt really like any of them.

I thought Prima Donna were good at both shows I was at, I like... couldn't really get into them though, I was too excited for Green Day!:woot:

Well when I heard Franz Ferdinand would be opening for Green Day in SAN JOSE I wasnt too sure of how they would be since I only knew of their song Take Me Out. I was pleasantly surprised when they took the satgeand thought they really put on a good opening set and thought they were really good in person.

When i first heard Prima Donna, it was boring, because i didnt know any song of them. But the next two concerts they were getting better and better to me. Now i love that band, and i brought me their CD on amazon. In Munich i talked a long time with a guy from Prima Donna after the show. He was really, really nice :P

I think for every band it is a hard job to be support of Green Day, and i felt really sorry with Prima Donna , expecially in Dortmund.

I don't know. I mean Prima Donna didn't do it for me. I've never seen the Bravery but i like their songs. Franz I assume would be the best 'cos its Franz and I can just about tolerate them.

I was not looking forward to Franz Ferdinand at all, but I actually ended up enjoying them. I like what I've heard from Prima Donna, I'm ordering their CD soon. :)

prima donna were poor

Prima Donna were grand. But by the 4th show it was a bit "meh."

I'll probably still go and see them in February if the tickets are cheap

^ same ;D

I may have already posted this (shame on me if i have) but I don't get people that can't get into the support acts because they're too excited for the main acts. I mean, the support acts are going to play, like it or not so might as well get involved. It'll make time fly quicker aha

prima donna were pretty good and i met them after the show and david (their drummer) gave me an itunes card so i can download their new EP :D. I took a photo with them and yeah it was cool

For the San Jose show, we got Franz, and I thought they were pretty good.

Though I couldn't wait for it to end so Green Day could get their asses on stage.

I hate Franz Ferdinand, well good thing I missed them at my show....(I was almost late seeing Green Day though, because of my sister and my cousin )

*gasp* why?!

WOW. Green Day are taking their sweet time announcing the support band for New Zealand.

We have 10 days left.

I hate The Bravery so much that I didn't even watch them - my friends and I mosied around the arena for the duration of their set.

I've been a big fan of Franz Ferdinand since their debut, I would pay just to see them. Unfortunately they didn't come to Florida... And I'm too poor to even make it out of the state in a car lmao

The Kaiser Chiefs opened my show, I looked them up before going, listened to their stuff for about 2-3 months before, and I really liked them. I was like, the one guy in Miami getting excited, I shook Ricky's hand when he came up into the stands.

The Bravery...meh. I've never been super impressed by them. I do like "Believe" though.

Never heard of Prima Donna before this thread, didn't even know they were opening for GD! Looking them up right now.

Also, aren't Jet doing the tours in Australia? I like Jet quite a bit too.

The Kaiser Cheifs had a really nice energy and catchy songs.

I lol'd when somebody wrote "I'm just here for the Kaiser chefs" on the txt message screen.

I saw The Bravery at the Pittsburgh show. They weren't too bad, I guess.

Franz Ferdinand FTW! Though I'm fine with The Bravery.
