Todd Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 I'd rename 21 Guns 'None Of Your Business' so that when people asked other people what their favourite Green Day song is, a lot would respond with sass.best rename in this thread.
HolyHandGrenade Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 Are you sure though? I've heard that the titles of what is now known as "Stuck With Me" and "Do Da Da" got mixed up, and "Stuck With Me" got its title and "Do Da Da" got some other unknown title, but it was only because they liked the new title for "Stuck With Me" and it made some sense in context to the song, that they kept it that way, but then the original "Stuck With Me" (Do Da Da) needed a title, but they couldn't come up with one, so they just went with "Do Da Da" because "Stuck With Me" was taken and it was the only title that really would make any sense. I'm sorry if what I just wrote is confusing Not confusing, I've heard that as well.
Eva Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 maybe they should just start making real long song titles like fall out boy. x kid can become hey little kid (did you wake up late one day and you're not so young but you're still dumb) There's Nothing Wrong With Me (This Is How I'm Supposed To Be In A Land Of Make Believe That Don't Believe In Me)

HolyHandGrenade Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 the forgotten is a perfect title really because i always forget that song even exists It's just a sub-par attempt to recreate 21 Guns. The fact that it's in a Twilight movie doesn't help its case either.

No, Stuck With Me was never going to be called Do Da Da. Is that what you said? This whole thing is confusing
Carrot Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 No, Stuck With Me was never going to be called Do Da Da. Is that what you said? This whole thing is confusing I thought Stuck with me was gonna be called do da da cause they couldn't come up with a name....
Todd Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 I thought Stuck with me was gonna be called do da da cause they couldn't come up with a name.... Do Da Da was originally titled "Stuck With Me". It was renamed "Do Da Da" after "Alright" was accidentally titled "Stuck With Me". The original "Stuck With Me" no longer had a name, so they made up "Do Da Da" Before: Alright After: Stuck With Me Before: Stuck With Me After: Do Da Da

Iain Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 I'm not sure if I should be offended or not... Don't worry buddy, take it from me: The Forgotten is such an amazing song, it's made me forget that it was in a godawful movie soundtrack, and that's pretty darn amazing.

Yes, and what I've heard - and meant by my confusing post - is that the song now known as "Stuck With Me" was never called "Do Da Da" at any point in time. If we assume it was originally called "Not Alright" there were two songs on the early demo of Insomniac (Jesus Christ Supermarket?) called "Not Alright" and "Stuck With Me", named after what is sung in the chorus. Then there was a mix up, and "Not Alright" got its new title "Stuck With Me" that they thought fitted the song well, but "Not Alright" wasn't a good title for the original "Stuck With Me", but they couldn't come up with anything, so they just named it "Do Da Da". Hey look, it got confusing again... I'll give props to anyone who can formulate the essence of my message in under one line of text. Edit: I see now that Tman684 already did a good job at that.
WhiteTim Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 I heard it was a studio mix up which was also last time they used Fantasy Studios... wonder if that was a reason cause Rob also stopped using Fantasy in 95 as well...
