Mrs. Nobody Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 Scattered or Letterbomb. But i'd forget half the lyrics
Bexie. Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 Definitely Waiting. I would scream the lyrics, not sing.Please.. I'd rather listen to someone sing the lyrics out of tune rather than scream them. I've been to too many green day gigs where theres someone screaming the lyrics.. it's not pleasent.. my ears bled after XD BUT YES WAITING
kegan5 Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 I'd go for Home Coming... purely since it would give me 9minutes + on stage !And on a plus side I could run around during Tre's bit
*Jade_Green_Day* Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 Hmm it's a toughie. And I can't sing, but I wouldn't care at all, I'd be all caught up in the moment of actually being up on stage.Either:Dominated Love SlaveWhen I Come AroundHaving a BlastorStuck With Me.
imadrummer Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 Basket case cos i just love that song or Poprocks and coke because it reminds me of my best mate
punkfunkdisco Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 You'd be surprised :wink:I seriously don't know how you guys that got pulled up did it! I was in the seats with no chance of being picked thinking, "What's the first line?! I can't even remember the first line!" when Billie was asking who knew the words.I'd go for Home Coming... purely since it would give me 9minutes + on stage !And on a plus side I could run around during Tre's bit I like your thinking!
Isabel Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 I seriously don't know how you guys that got pulled up did it! I was in the seats with no chance of being picked thinking, "What's the first line?! I can't even remember the first line!" when Billie was asking who knew the words.Well I can't speak for others but in my experience, I used to practice singing it SO many times [sadly enough], and I was so revved up about it...that by the time the concert came, I was like "I have to do this" and I genuinely didn't give it a second thought. It's like when you just say something automatically, almost like a force of habit; I didn't need to think about it, the words just came out. No nerves, no insecurities, just Longview
Hermione Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 I know some are MUCH easier to sing than others because I sing them a lot . Longview is one of the trickier ones I'd say. It would absolutely not be Rotting because I'm physically incapable of singing that low. Maybe When I Come Around, that's nice and high.Having said that, when I went to see Green Day I realized I'm actually not bothered about getting up to sing or getting props onstage etc. I practiced the song loads beforehand just in case, hehe, and brought a halo thing, but the thought hardly crossed my mind once I was in there. I forgot about the halo on my head and when it came to Longview I found myself pointing to my sister to try to help her get up instead (although he didn't look in our section at all so I never could've gone up anyway). I was far too engrossed watching the show to give it a thought. I love the fact that they get people up though and I always enjoy watching it.
champagne mami Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 Hmm..i'd probably pick Basektcase or Whatsername. Those would be the first ones that would come to my mind.lol.:]
Spark of Insanity Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 I don't know. I have a few in my mind like Letterbomb, Waiting, or something to that sort. But right now, I would choose Paper Lanterns.
Li Sa Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 uihh first song in my head Minority =)but afeter thinking...American EulogyKing for a day /shoutSt.JimmyShe`s a rebel I prefer the faster songs
CarmenPunkGirl Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 King for a Day Horseshoes And HandgrenadesMacy's Day ParadeGoing to Pasalacquabut i'm sure i'd forget the lyrics
SpiffyGiffy Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 I don't particularly like singing in front of people...But if I had to choose, I would pick something like Scattered, Going to Pasalacqua, 2000 Light Years Away or Jesus of Suburbia
Tashidge Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 Whatsername I think... it goes with my voice since it's pretty deep for a girl.Though Give Me Novocaine, Peacemaker or Poprocks and Coke would be amazing.OR!Blood, Sex and Booze.Ok, I'm starting to think of way too many, I think we should all gather together, rise up and take over the show.
Harinezumi Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 Poprocks and CokeYeah now that I think of it, I'd like to change mine (Last Night On Earth) to Poprocks and Coke. That song is just too awesome.
minorityxdisturbed Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 Going to Pasalacqua or Stuck with me I love them so much.
Smoothed Out Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 Probably Dominated Love Slave with Tre for a laugh, or being more serious either Holiday or Letterbomb
DecanoLP Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 I can't decide between She or Holiday. Holiday is so much fun to sing and really easy. So I would choose this one.Woah, what a dream <3
Sanity Loan Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 i think you chose the wrong thread this is for what song you would sing on stage not what song you would renamei think this is what you want hereWhoopsies. Musta thought I clicked on that one haha. Fail
joe6464 Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 I would do one of their rare songs either when it's time (the unreleased acoustic one) or their cover of a quick one while he's away or dominated love slave with tre, that would be epic
rhiaaaaa Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 Homecoming, Jesus of Suburbia or Going to Pasalacqua
