Track17 Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 XDthats amazing!!i was stuck all the way in the back. and didnt get to see that...it was so lame i was the only on singing along and jumping up and down ( i was that chick that u usually get annoyed with going that crazy that far away, but i really didnt care anymore, it was great) and of course singing along with the older songs like Disappearing Boy, ( so freaking stoked they played that song) and i couldnt even see the stage but still had a blast. does anyone know who were the people who got into sound check.
kidney Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 wow whata amazing show and everyone in line was cool as fuck just wanted to say it was cool hanging with everyone kidney my man good seing u again its alllways good times zoe and bohemiean you were cracking me up all night hope u have a good trip back and thanks to beth for the soda and gum ahh. there ya are. totally!duuude waiting in line was surprisingly not too bad really and possibly the most fun I've ever had waiting in one actually!Afterwards though.. I have never been so fucking tired and worn down in my life. Then I had to walk a mile and half through East Los Angeles (yeah, i know) to get on the bus home. That's the first time I've walked somewhere and thought that I might get shot for no reason at all. but it was all worth it. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.totally. with a show like that usually the last thing on mind is getting back home. thankfully I was only a couple of blocks away from a bus that went all the way to Downtown LA. wasn't so much worried about getin' shot luckily though.. I was however more worried about a few other things...Dude, I have a massively bruised knee just from stumbling while running up the stairs to go to the bathroom after having some of Kidney's wine he brought. Lol. Fail. wow and I thought you said it took ya a lot to feel anything boozin' it.kidney did you make it home ok?I made it home just fine, definitely was tired.. as Zoe said with the help of a hobo schizo.. I wasn't worried so much about my safety involving him.. but more so if he was leading me the right way! thanks for the concern though, it was nice meetin' ya!
Bohemian+Scandal Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 wow and I thought you said it took ya a lot to feel anything with booze. It does! Though I did feel it after the Peacemakers going round and the beer. I'm still blaming the stumble on the wine... and not just plain clumsiness. :whistling:But seriously. You're so right. Best line ever! Haha.

Kate Austen Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 But doesn't that happen at any concert? It's an aggressive thing fighting for the floor. Even once you're on the floor and situated people are still really inconsiderate. I always expect dashes to the floor at concerts to be rough. You have to hold your own or else you'll end up on the ground. This rush wasn't that bad. I don't know why there's so much complaining about it.The person described it as being punched and shoved. Again, I wasn't there - have no idea if it was an exaggeration. But IMO physically punching or shoving someone is unacceptable, especially when you are line. If you are going to touch me that way, I would def hit back. But I'll agree that during a show, it's first come first serve. If folks want to sprint to a stage then by all means. I was talking more about when they were getting us through the line. Once we came out of the waiting area and we were in the stage area - I agree it's a free for all.

lookoutrebelgirl Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 Oh and for those who are interested, Joey was off to the side watching during the whole show. He looked pretty bored with a few song exceptions when he was singing along happily. I, and many other people, were irked when people tried to chant Emily's Army at him. We all yelled at them to stfu. Lol. No one likes creepy fantards, guys! XDThat was my friends and I that chanted so I guess I'm a fantard? Or maybe your just overreacting. I like Emily's Army BJs kid or not and I thought it would be cool to yell out. He looked back and smiled so I don't see how it's a big deal.so they are creepy "fantards" for yelling out the band name, yet you spent a lot of time watching him to see what he was doing during the show? ok.^ true
Bohemian+Scandal Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 That was my friends and I that chanted so I guess I'm a fantard? Or maybe your just overreacting. Just saying that it irked a bunch of people is all. It popped into my head when recapping the show. It just came off as pretty silly. Like a *headdesk* kind of moment. Can't really explain properly. If you get it, you get it kind of thing. Anywho, sorry for referring to you guys as fantards, I didn't know it was you and your friends. My bad. Lol.
