Tickets, eh? In the even that I don't win my own, would you consider letting me have one in return for a ride/food/sexual favors?

I'm just wondering -- if this free concert is through the Carson Daly website, and they are scheduled to perform on his NYE special from Times Square, and we've already heard that they won't be PHYSICALLY in Times Square -- could this be a pre-recorded gig that will air on NYE? It would make sense, and seriously, I wouldn't blame them one bit if they wanted to spend the holidays with friends and family, especially as they will have just wrapped up the Oz part of their tour and will be getting ready for the Japan stretch.

Yeah definitely, I am only going if I win tickets though since I am from RI and I wouldnt want to drive all the way there unless I got to see the show!!

I requested tickets as soon as they were released which means i will probably be getting them BUT

i most likely won't be able to get to LA, so if anyone here requested tickets from 1iota and didn't get them i can transfer them to you, if it's possible.

i don't think anyone has heard anything. If anyone does win be sure to write it on the boards please.

It's not really a matter of "winning" tickets. You just have to have requested them early and appear as an active member.

1iota isn't the Carson Daly website. I think it just has something to do with the sponsors, and the fact that every other ticket vendor has a conveinence charge.

I feel like this info has been on facebook way longer than it's been on gdc..

That's my point: you can't (or at least you shouldn't. I mean free Green Day AND sexual favors).

I just hope they let us know about the tickets soon. I want to make them all t-shirts, but that takes a lot of time. the sooner I know, the better.

I saw something that said non-transferable. I hope IDs arn't checked as I used a pen name when I registered. If they do I had better get on making something to use for credentials...I don't condone counterfeiting but I really hate giving personal info to sites like that.

i saw that too. but green day have used that site before and people on here were able to transfer their tickets, so i'm not sure how serious they are.

Thats very nice of you to offer to give them away. Yeah i got my request in as soon as i saw the add on Green Day.com , but i didn't join the 1iota until then.

i joined in may-ish when there was that rumor about them playing Jimmy Kimmel.

What in the hell happened to that anyway?

Just make sure your profile has a picture and try to sign on everyday. That's what i've been hearing at least.

I would totally give you a ticket if I got some except I only requested one.

I figured that might give me a slightly better chance. Especially since I requested them a couple of days later from when they popped up. If I do get my ticket, I'm busting a solo mission.

Okay, just changed my ticket request from 2 tickets to 1. Because I want to maximize my chances.
