I wonder where the band is headed afterwards... It will still be early after all. :shifty:

Take the Metro Purple Line.

It's a 2 hour trip but hey.. you'll get there.

Goes from Riverside straight into Downtown Los Angeles.

I'm pretty much going to be on the street where everything will take place. Not entirely sure where as the tent probably won't be set up at 12...

Riverside is not THAT far. You can find a way. If I can get to San Francisco from Santa Cruz, you can surely get from Riverside to LA.

Or hitchhike. I recommend having a sign "will give head for ride to Green Day show in LA."

So about that secret show:

The Music Box has no events listed for the entire week of show at the Nokia, so theoretically they could do a secret show there on the 24th.

The Troubadour (where Pinhead played last year) is also free the days of the 23rd and the 24th. And on the 22nd and 24th, there are scheduled events. Seems promising. Keep an eye on this venue in the coming week.

The Roxy's taken up that week, as is the Whiskey. The House of Blues is as well, but I doubt they'd play there anyway. The Viper Room's booked up, but I also don't see the boys playing there either.

The Wiltern is booked up that week, but the El Rey isn't. I don't know if they've ever played the El Rey, but it's not a terrible venue. And I wouldn't rule it out. But there are no events booked that week, so it may be closed.

The Santa Monica Civic Center is free on the 24th and 25th. I know Rilo Kiley has played there, and it's a pretty decently sized venue. More than adequate for a secret show.

If anything, I think the Troubadour is the best bet. Especially considering the possibility that they could perform as the Foxboro Hot Tubs for a small venue, like they did in England this past month. Keep your fingers crossed.

I don't think I've missed any of the major music venues on the strip or on santa monica, but I might have, so please add your own two cents.

I can't believe this concert is only a week from tomorrow. I hope a secret show pops up on our radar in the next week. That would make me very thankful this thanksgiving.

they just better not do a secret show in the bay area. whenever they do that im always in LA :down:

they can do a secret show in LA any night but tuesday night and im good. but i swear if they do a secret show tuesday night :blink: ....idk how ima get there. i will hitchhike.

I've given up my tickets for this show. I decided I just can't afford it, and tbh its not worth flying over to see an hour/hour half concert of which i have no guarantee of getting into. That and now I am about £200-£400 up on my savings to see my Rocktober family in the U.S next year :wub:

Yeah i already gave her my number. She said she is gonna keep an eye out on everything down there and keep me up to date. Awesome you guys are both gonna be down there. Wish i could get there sooner but i have to drop my kiddo off at school then leave for California.
