-Billiejoezee- Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 the urrgh was for the age limit the 4+ hours part just surprised me.Does anyone think I'd pass? I'm 5'3' and the only ID I have is a college ID(with no DOB though) and I am going with my mom's boyfriend, whos like, 40 something. Thanks May I ask, why?I'm 5'7 you think they'll let me in??
Kryssi. Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 I'm 5'7 you think they'll let me in??Jeez, you're tall for a 13 year old!
-Billiejoezee- Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 Jeez, you're tall for a 13 year old!And I feel freakin short.My friend is 12 and he's 5'9.
Bexie. Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 I'm still deciding whether to go or not. I mean its going to cost me £500 or more to go. Where as I could save that money for my trip to the U.S next year, where i'm meant to be following GD on part of their U.S tour.. so im kinda stuck on what to do atm But then again, it would be a really fun experience just to get up and go to LA, see the best band in the world, hardly sleep and then come back to the UK the next day decisions desicions....And I feel freakin short. My friend is 12 and he's 5'9.you're the same height as me... *coughs* and billie
Kryssi. Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 And I feel freakin short. My friend is 12 and he's 5'9.Wow, that's tall. I remember a kid that was in the year or two below me in High School, and he was around 6'.0" Incredible.Anyway, I don't think it'll be down to height, I'm not even really clear on their age policies.
Kate Austen Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 @ BexieI would at least consider that this isn't a full show. I expect it will be at least 1 hour. But you know..anything can happen. Maybe it will only be 40 min - maybe it will be 2 hours. I'm assuming if it says the thing will be over at 11, it will be - maybe LA curfew? (I say maybe, because the curfew is different in certain areas, and the thing is 16 and over which means they anticipate young folk to come to this).I think there is more leaning in favor of this just being a short mini-show. So I'm not sure if it's worth it to you to fly all the way out here for this. Just something you should consider. At the same time, if you are a big Green Day fan - it would be cool to say you went to their New Years Eve special. It just depends on how you value you this sort of thing. I've always been a "live in the moment" kind of girl. While I remember shows fondly, I don't really collect them like some folks. I go to shows to be entertained that moment - so if there is a show I can't make, I never get bummed. I know some folks actually love collecting shows & memories, and it kills them if they miss something. So just evaluate all this, think it over - then decide.
