Bohemian+Scandal Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 This is just so weird. And unfair. I don't understand how it's instant for some. This is just so damn illogical. I'm fucking gonna.....fucking gonna listen to some fucking Lady GaGa in protest or something. This is what you've pushed me to do, Green Day. Hurt myself (via Lady GaGa music).I've had Lady Gaga stuck in my head all day. I was about to listen to her when all this began. Lol. I want to get back to Gaga, now because I'm really starting to think that no matter how many times I request, delete, and request again I'm going to get an instant confirmation like some. They only had to do it once so something about their accounts...All the people who I know got tickets are over 21 that's all I know.

That's going too far.Have a beer or something.
djrossstar Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Same thing happened to me when GD did Carson in June. I requested tickets literally 15 minutes after they went up on my existing account and got pending. I made a new account and got it instantly. I think this time, anyone who requested tickets before today, it just doesn't count and won't change to confirmed. You need to make a new account.

It sure is making me want to vomit like that did. I swear. I'm just so frantic. I dont see how this is happening. We should all have our tickets right now. Each fucking one of us on here right now.

The sacrifices we make for love.

MusicalDeviant Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 I couldn't agree with you more, These tickets should go to green day fansThis is what happens when a band gets too popular. If they did a merit-based thing based on essays or something, then it would take them months to sort through all the requests and get the tickets out.
leacalifornia Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 I don't get it. I just had another friend do it and she got her tickets.can I be your friend??
digitalgetdown3 Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Ok OH MY GOD I JUST GOT CONFIRMED A TICKET. I noticed tioo what that girl said about everyone being 21+ that got their tickets so far. So, i went on the site and changed my age to 21 right? Ok. So i changed my age to 21, put in for 1 ticket, and fucking got confirmed! Only problem is, i'm only 20. But the e-ticket has no birthdate on it, it says nothing about me being 21 or me having to be 21 and such. Though after I changed my age I could confirm it.

saintcarlos Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 YES I GOT EM TOOOO YES, 21 OVER!! HOPE THEY DONT CHECK AGE!!!
MusicalDeviant Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Wait, where will we be standing? Does this mean that its a first-come/first-serve deal for getting up close to the stage? Or will they tell us later what part of the venue we're assigned to?If we want any chance of getting to the front, we should probably get there the night before, or like 4 in the morning. Where will we park though? I don't think any of the street lots will be open that early.
Brandon R. Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Now here's my question:Why the hell didn't they say something about needing to be 21?
digitalgetdown3 Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 I dont think there should be any problem with age, We're over 16. All of us that have been on here. and the age has been said as 16, not 21. So we should be fine. And as far as I remember, When I went to the Carson DAly taping in JUne, they just checked my ID for my name, not my age. Theres no other area that says this show should be 21+. I think we're fucking good as gold. We cracked this fucking code guys! We had to have!

I don't think any of the street lots will be open that early.I guess we'll know Friday.I can't get there until around 1 PM on the day of the concert. And I have to walk from the Greyhound station to Nokia because I don't know the bus system and I refuse to end up in the wrong place. Can't drive down there now, stupid car.
Bohemian+Scandal Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Ah! Wowser wowser. I wonder why they didn't say it had to be 21 +... It says no alcohol. I'm fucking 18 damn it.
MusicalDeviant Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Now here's my question:Why the hell didn't they say something about needing to be 21?Who knows. But this makes me feel a little bit better about our chances of getting to the front. I mean, the majority of people at green day shows tend to be under 21, so those unassuming will have put in their ages and not know about the code. Hopefully.
