Why was it so special? It was kindof like a 1,500-seat dress-rehearsal show for the tour that took place in the band's backyard. Well, in their home town (Oakland) at least. Wiiiiiiiiish I coulda been there...........

deadair Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 BUMP. I wish they'd release a DVD of the complete Fox Theater concert. I have the torrent on my harddrive of the (Switzerland?) T.V. special of this concert that was aired last November. It's missing a lot of songs though since it is only 54 minutes.
gdpony Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 Im crossing my fingers for a new dvd! ... nothing would make me happier!
Haz Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 grrr this thread being bumped angers me greatly. i thought there had been more news
Vaso.Of.Suburbia Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1442507/ this looks interesting too... seems like green day has started being interested in cinema and film making
boosho Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 I didnt think this needed its own thread so im posting this here (even though not really the correct place i dont think).. But this was on greenday.com. Now this show has been repeated many times on many channels in many countries so not sure why they would promote it on Green Day's site. Maybe its a bit different (even though when i checked the scheduling on HDNet it was only for 1 hour). But what's interesting is that they say "exclusive behind the scenes footage and commentary" Non of the other shows had this. So im not sure what that's about. I have no idea what HDNet is but if someone has it can they please check this out, hopefully recored it and share??? Thanks. Fanny. Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 omg I want to see this! I'm really interested in seeing the performance but also all the behind the scenes stuff. In Canada you can get it with Bell tv, which I have, this is the channel 814 but unfortunately I don't get this one. ): I really hope someone will record it for us all!
Homicidal_llama Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 In all honesty I'd prefer a pick n' mix of different performances from every show on the 21CBD tour. That way we wouldn't end up with something similar to Bullet in a Bible which was cool but was pretty much just hits and not many hidden gems. I don't see why the MPAA rating matters though?
Sanity Loan Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 Damn! My cable company just got rid of HDNet. Fuck them! Right before something good was going to air.
greenbear Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 I hope this means we'll finally get to see a good quality live version of Restless Heart Syndrome and others from 21st CB !! Not that I can watch it in the UK but just hoping some kind person will record it for us.
Brian Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 Damn! My cable company just got rid of HDNet. Fuck them! Right before something good was going to air. Mine did too. I loved HDNet for all of its awesome concert series...dammit Time Warner!
