It was a show where they played 21st Century Breakdown from start to finish about a month before the album was released and then played some older songs too.

Does the "R" have a special meaning or so?

If they really release this on DVD, it's gonna make my life because I WAS THERE :woot:

Yes, it's one of the higher movie ratings here.

G: All Audiences No cussing violence, etc

PG: Parent Guidance Suggested Mild Violence/Language (Damn, etc)

PG13: Parental Guidance Strongly Advised for children under 13 (More violence and stronger language (Shit, very little "fuck"s, usually 1 or 2) Mild Nudity

R: Restricted for children under 17 unless accomponied by an adult (Graphic Violence, Sometimes strong nudity/sexual themes. STRONG Language. (IE: Lots of Fucks, Shits, and other words that commonly are conisdered cussing)

NC17: No Child Under 17. End of Story. (Lots of Nudity, Extreme Violence, etc

It was kindof like a 1,500-seat dress-rehearsal show for the tour that took place in the band's backyard. Well, in their home town (Oakland) at least. Wiiiiiiiiish I coulda been there...........

BUMP.

I wish they'd release a DVD of the complete Fox Theater concert. I have the torrent on my harddrive of the (Switzerland?) T.V. special of this concert that was aired last November. It's missing a lot of songs though since it is only 54 minutes.

I didnt think this needed its own thread so im posting this here (even though not really the correct place i dont think).. But this was on greenday.com. Now this show has been repeated many times on many channels in many countries so not sure why they would promote it on Green Day's site. Maybe its a bit different (even though when i checked the scheduling on HDNet it was only for 1 hour). But what's interesting is that they say "exclusive behind the scenes footage and commentary" Non of the other shows had this. So im not sure what that's about. I have no idea what HDNet is but if someone has it can they please check this out, hopefully recored it and share???

Thanks.

Green Day rocks some of their biggest hit in the show including "American Idiot," "Longview," and "21 Guns."

"Green Day Live at the Fox Theatre" is just the latest in an all-star line-up of new concerts presented this spring on HDNet. Upcoming concerts include:

Sunday, June 6

omg I want to see this! I'm really interested in seeing the performance but also all the behind the scenes stuff. In Canada you can get it with Bell tv, which I have, this is the channel 814 but unfortunately I don't get this one. ):

I really hope someone will record it for us all!

In all honesty I'd prefer a pick n' mix of different performances from every show on the 21CBD tour. That way we wouldn't end up with something similar to Bullet in a Bible which was cool but was pretty much just hits and not many hidden gems.

I don't see why the MPAA rating matters though?

Damn! My cable company just got rid of HDNet. Fuck them! Right before something good was going to air.

Posted

what is the 'R rating'?

Posted

I hope this means we'll finally get to see a good quality live version of Restless Heart Syndrome and others from 21st CB !!

Not that I can watch it in the UK but just hoping some kind person will record it for us. :)
