-Billiejoezee- Posted November 4, 2009 Author Posted November 4, 2009 King for a Day is a favourite, just because it's SO. MUCH. FUN. and a real let-yourself-go moment where you can proper dance. I love Holiday too because I think it's now just a favourite GD song of mine.Minority too, just because I love the irony of thousands of people singing "I wanna be the minority!"KFAD is the one of the only songs that I get freaky too.
Ally Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 after actually seeing them live, i can honestly say i love everything they do live, but BOBD on friday was the best live ever! But king for a day and 21 guns are both incredible live, hearing billie sing 21 guns live actually made me cry it was so good!

LetItBeHappy Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 I love the sound of Homecoming live It's so.... I don't know, "great" is not enough xD

Snorri Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 Minority (I just love when Billie starts to introduce everyone from the band)Jesus Of Suburbia (Just because everyone gets a solo there) Letterbomb (One of my favorite song of all time) East Jesus Nowhere (It always gets better and better)
karma1215 Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 It's a tie between King for a Day/ Minority
punkfunkdisco Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 KFAD is the one of the only songs that I get freaky too.Do you save yourself for it? "Gotta conserve energy for KFAD"
Reject-All-American Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 Definitely without a doubt King For A Day!!! It pumps me up and they get so into it, its amazing!
Storer Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 I saw them play At The Library and Give Me Novacaine at Birmingham. AMAZING
-Billiejoezee- Posted November 4, 2009 Author Posted November 4, 2009 Do you save yourself for it? "Gotta conserve energy for KFAD" I save energy for KFAD and st.jimmy
Alan86 Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 Jesus of suburbia blew me away twice on the Uk & Ireland tour this year. Im glad i saw it twice with just the band playing it instead of someone from the crowd. 21 guns was awsome too,and i was realy glad i got the chance to see Going to Pasalaqua, Welcome to Paradise, Give me Novacaine, when I come around and the saints are coming
Good-Riddance Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 Hitchin' a Ride was rather amazing And Coming Clean!!
Kryssi. Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 Shit, this is so hard. There's 21st Century Breakdown, as it's a personal thing, same with Letterbomb... it's also great to hear When I Come Around and Welcome to Paradise. Hearing the way Billie upscaled 'skull' in Brain Stew is awesome.
gabbag Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 Shit, this is so hard. There's 21st Century Breakdown, as it's a personal thing, same with Letterbomb... it's also great to hear When I Come Around and Welcome to Paradise. Hearing the way Billie upscaled 'skull' in Brain Stew is awesome.Ahh that is so true! I love when he does this, man the more I think about this, I really cannot chose...
novacaine_kid Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 I'm really diggin the way they do BOBD on this tour as well, letting the crowd sing the opening chorus. Other favourites of mine are Are We The Waiting, which i'm not such a huge fan of on CD, but live its just incredible, and She is immense live as well. Was a fucking shock to hear scattered at wembley, they should totally bring that back
Clayish Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 BOBD is my least favorite live. I have heard it WAY to many times.
love_billie_joe Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 She - I burst into tears when they played this song!basketcase- total epicnesslast night on earth- when I first got 21st century breakdown, it wasn't my favorite on the cd, but hearing it live made me LOVE it... and everything else that I heard at the phoenix concert
Kaddi. Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 Basket Case and American Idiot, because I love how everyone freaks out when they play them. Good Riddance, because there couldn't be a better song to finish a concert.21st Century Breakdown, because of this special feeling I have everytime they started to play it... they came on stage and jumped around and when Billie started to sing, I always had this feeling of pure happiness. It's hard to describe.
Ally Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 BOBD is my least favorite live. I have heard it WAY to many times.yeah same here, but i loved it on friday, but any other time i get bored of it
Blond-O-Sonic Shimmer Trap Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 I did like BOBD when the crowd sang most of it, Jason White mutes the chorus so its like a crowd acapella version, thought it was ace. I didn't think they'd play that or September Ends because they were the biggest singles and I hadn't seen them played much in the US Tour, but the different way they mixed them up made them feel great to hear anyway. Admittedly I loved every song, (1st time seeing them) even 21 Guns when they played it but my favourites were Going To Pasalacqua, Minority, and Holiday (21st CB Tour one with the explosions is tooooo awesome)
Brian Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 I would have to say King for a Day because its just a great song to get everyone in a good mood.
stxrlesseyes Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 I've only seen them once but my favorite was The Static Age. Just because it's my favorite off of 21st Century Breakdown and I got really into it at the show. haha
