Clayish Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 #1 would easily be 21st Century Breakdown. Class of 13 part just freaking rocks the house. I have never seen so much energy. The next best are King For a Day/Shout, American Eulogy, JOS, and FOD
saintcarlos Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 king for a day.I win , close this thread.
BuriedInAHole Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 I can't decide between Holiday and King For A Day..But I think King For A Day wins
alaniluau Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 A hard question to answer! J.A.R., Going to Pasalacqua, and Last Night On Earth are some of my top favorites live.
norcalgreendayfan Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 All of them, I mean really how could you choose just one.
bjrules Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 I haven't seen them live yet, but I'm betting that Jesus of Suburbia and King for a Day will be fucking awesome.
Smoothed Out Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 21 Guns! I love the piano solo and the sparks falling from the ceiling during the instrumental (It made me cry )
novacaine_kid Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Its hard to decide between 21 Guns, Minority and When I Come Around. They are all so good
RobyRoom Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 King for a day is so entertaining, but i love also Minority and We are the Waiting
valentinesandcigs Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 hitchin a ride and dissapearing boy when they do all those covers
.Holly Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 I can't pick one favourite live song. I think after seeing them on the UK tour I would have to go for King for a Day, American Idiot (cos everyone just goes nuts!), American Eulogy (that song really comes to life live) and Good Riddance (because it conveys so much emotion and always makes me cry, lol).Oh and also Minority is epic live too.#1 would easily be 21st Century Breakdown. Class of 13 part just freaking rocks the house. I have never seen so much energy. The next best are King For a Day/Shout, American Eulogy, JOS, and FODomg I'd be so happy if I saw FOD live
Freeny Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 i love that they play holiday and east jesus nowhere after eachother, those songs are just so fucking awesome and has a great meaning, it felt so good to hear them after eachother live in concert.the Are We The Waiting/St Jimmy part was great, and I loved American Eulogy. Haha, before that song, Billie screamed "LET'S GO FUCKING CRAZY!!" and the song started. It got me so pumped!Minority was amazing too.. Fuck, they were all awesome! The only song I didn't like to hear live was Last Night On Earth. Don't go bazooka on me, I just don't like that song . But I got some good out of it, my only pictures were taken then, and I got an awesome one that I look at when I want to go all sentimental. (:
Generation Zero Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 definitely Wake Me Up When September Ends, Minority & Welcome To Paradise
Matty_EFC Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Christie Road scousticThe videos of that are so epidIts my fav song, and I love acoustic songs. If only they'd played it at Halloween in Manchester, instead of the day after, I think I'd have died on the spot when I heard that
lucyc_ Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 its so hard to choose! but i think some of my top songs live would be minority, holiday, are we the waiting and good riddance. oh and macys day parade was amazing, plus i was so shocked when they played it cos it's one of my all time faves
Clockwise Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Definitely Christie Road, it was so amazing live.
dolce Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Minority, Holiday, American Eulogy, Shout (teehee), and most of all - Drama Queen.
punkfunkdisco Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 King for a Day is a favourite, just because it's SO. MUCH. FUN. and a real let-yourself-go moment where you can proper dance. I love Holiday too because I think it's now just a favourite GD song of mine.Minority too, just because I love the irony of thousands of people singing "I wanna be the minority!"
scottrowan200 Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 hmmm when i come around ...... king for a day .....knowlage even tho its a cover EJNhmmm when i come around ...... king for a day .....knowlage even tho its a cover EJN
Nomis Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 - Good Riddance (TOYL) in personal opinion you can't beat. :teehee: - Welcome to Paradise (love the little instrumental in the middle of song) - Hitchin a Ride- American Eulogy (one of the better songs live off the new album in my opinion)- Longview (GO.......WHEN MASTURBATIONS LOST IT'S FUN.......) - St Jimmy (Its grown on me alot, didn't really like it much when AI was first relased and thye did it on AI tour)
04rebhop Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 Christie Road & At The Library were the most amazing things i have ever heard live. Christie Road especially. I nearly burst into tears when the played it in Birmingham last week.
ems Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 I really liked Longview, When I Come Around and Brainstew when I saw them - I wasn't a huge fan of those songs before! But my favourite was Jesus Of Suburbia
