Anyone NOT Going To The Green Day Shows?

I kind of feel bad that so many people have never been able to see them and I saw them when I wasn't even a fan. (don't worry, I am now)

Aww.. don't feel bad. It's great that you realised how amazing they are and became a fan.

The good thing is.. a band like Green Day will be around for a long time, so we'll all get our chance to see them.. if we are patient.

Beyonce, Aerosmith, Kings of Leon were just here for the Formula 1 Grand Prix. The Killer is coming next month, but I am not interested in them. I did go see Coldplay back in March and Fergie last year in Dubai. Really Really hoping Green Day will come.

I'm so angry at green day for not coming to Finland!!! :verymad: There's a chance that it's not their fault though...I mean that maybe my stupid small counrty couldn't offer them the things they needed to make it happen..I don't know..Whatever the reason is, I'm still really sad!

But maybe it's just better this way.I don't have anyone who could come with me and I'm not sure would I be able to get there at all (I live in SMALL town)! So in the end all this waiting will make me appreciate my first gd consert even more!! :wink:

Unfortunately I couldn't get tickets and they played on my birthday too, a friend of mine got to go with his wife and i had to miss out,lack of funding is a bitch sometimes. :down:

I think Nashville was the closest show to Kentucky this summer, but I'm not able to travel (at this time), so it didn't do me any good. From a practical standpoint, I highly doubt I would be able to attend even a local show. If it turns out I can, then great, but I'm not getting my hopes up. It's complicated, but I don't want to go into detail on here.

Parinaz, you're still considered an adult even if you live in Iran. There were a lot of good suggestions in those threads that you asked advice on how to get tickets in. What's stopping you from going to the show?

no dear. I asked several people ,some mods, I even sent email to a Singaporean website which is supposed to sell the tickets for their Asia tour,but none of them worked.

y' now Iran is in sanction and even before that we were not included in the international business or something. so that we can't order or buy stuff from internet, there were some credit cards that had just made for Iranian but they don't work anymore due to new sanctions against Iran.
