Guys, it can be much worse. Kid Cudi is as good as hip-hop artists can get. Would you rather have Soulja Boy team up with Green Day or Kid Cudi team up with Green Day?

Dude, this. I don't like hip-hop music normally, but I really enjoy Kid Cudi for some reason. Something this off the wall could actually be kind of cool!

I'm not exactly a hip hop fan, but I'd agree with those that are saying they'd give it a chance I think it'd be pretty interesting to be honest, and I trust that Green Day would do a good job with it.

Does it really matter? They can work with whoever they want to. They're still Green Day, it's not like they're going to dedicate the rest of their music career to playing and recording rap/hip-hop.

Even though, I just can't image them doing something in this genre.

If anything, I think they'd work the instrumental and some back-up vocals. No biggy.

If Green Day want to work with him, that's their choice. Collaborations between hip-hop and rock artists have been done many times before, and not all of them are horrible. I don't think I've ever heard any of them myself, but I'm sure that some of them must be quite good.
