dolce Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 My dream would be to take a road trip out to California and go see them in their "home" setting. Seeing them somewhere like San Francisco, San Jose, or Los Angeles would be amazing.First I just need my license...
earlysunsets Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 i am not old enough for doing this [maybe if they come to germany or sweden] but i am going to when i get older! ofc!a perfect excuse. :]
ems Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 I would love to do this. All I need is some money and someone to take along with me :/
Chelsea Hotel Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 I would love to take a roadtrip and follow Green Day around the country one day.
Hermione Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 I'd love to go to see the boys in the Bay area. If I'm ever not poor one day and they're playing there, I will! It would be amazing to see a smaller show and I doubt we'll ever get one this side of the Atlantic, plus it would be a really interesting place to visit. In fact scrap that I'd love to travel to see them ANYWHERE, just to see them a many times as possible. Seeing them once with this tour was absolutely wonderful and I am satisfied with it. But seeing them more would be nice too
Library Girl Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 I definitely want to do that one time. Just not this time, because I can't afford it right now! So I'm hoping for many more tours to come!
lovelyrita Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 If the Slane work out, I'll go to Irleand and probably stay there for longer and visit some places .
Smoothed Out Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 I went down to Birmingham to go to the Green Day gig on the 27th, me and my family made it into a mini holiday and we got to have a break and see different places. My dad says if he wins the lottery this weekend, he'll fly me to Australia to see them all over again. Yeah right...
Eighty. Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 I did it when I went to California and I'm planning to the next tour for the majority of the concerts in europe specially Spain, Portugal France Italy Germany and England I will be +18 ! it will be such a great green day holidays.
punkfunkdisco Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 I'd love to go to a New York show, I might do it next time. I can stalk Kathleen Hanna and Adam Horovitz at the same time.Although talk of Europe has given me ideas...
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 I'd love to do that one time, don't think it's gonna happen though.Right now I'm waaay too young (legal stuff and parents), and I don't have enough money, and as a student I don't really think I have a nice chest full of gold sitting in my room either, and after that I fear they won't tour (that often) anymore. ( bad thought!)
Lauren Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 I wish I could. Not only am I too young, but I just don't have that kind of money. Although, I did go from New Jersey to Las Vegas to see Green Day and it was the best night of my life!
Jaymee!! Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 I'll be travelling all over the States for the second leg of US dates, and possibly England if they go there again (though doubtful).Definitely going to Chicagooooooo to see Annie & Alex I'm very excited on all 3 fronts: A) fucking Chicago B) FUCKING GREEN DAY C) MOTHER FUCKING ANNIE & ALEX!
Laura! Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 My friend and I are planning to go to NYC to see Green Day and to see the city next summer. I'm hoping it works out.
Guest Shangri-La Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 I wish I could. Not only am I too young, but I just don't have that kind of money. Although, I did go from New Jersey to Las Vegas to see Green Day and it was the best night of my life! because of me, RIGHT?
Andrick Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 seeing two great things in one trip now that sounds like a plan
norcalgreendayfan Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 I am hoping I can pull off something like this when they tour North America again. I would love to be able to go to some diferent cities to go see Green Day.
Fuzz Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 I always go to other states to see them, even though they played here in New Mexico. I just like to check out other places and meet different people, so that's as good of an excuse as any. Hoping I'll make it overseas next year.
kegan5 Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 I'd love to see them in Japan, trying to work out the ticket websites is just a tad difficult... still looking into it though or if they announced more dates for next year would maybe reconsider another location
Tiffx Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 I would love to do this some day. I'll have to work it out so I'm on holidays though which can be frustrating.
TheMinority Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 I have already done this, if it counts booking the tickets to the location first and after that finding out that a band you've liked since 2003 is going there. The concert turned out to be a flop since the band had changed so much for the worse live since last time but still it was nice seing them again. I have had a plan to go to the States one day and see one of my favorite bands. But I haven't started putting away money or anything but anyways someday
Guest Hayley Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 That would be great. i'd love to do this.
Mrs. Nobody Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 Oh this is already in my plans, aha. I see this as a 'thing to do before you die', deffo
