fashionvictim86 Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 One of my favorite GD songs! It's my answer tone for my cell when you call it. And I was lucky enough to hear Billie Joe play it live right in front of me this year at the Philly show.
Bastard of 1967 Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 And I was lucky enough to hear Billie Joe play it live right in front of me this year at the Philly show. ^^^ Indeed. Wish they'd continued when they brought the show to DC. At least it gives us something to look forward to next summer if the hoped-for second US tour leg does go off.If I had to summarize this song in one sentence it would be this: "Stop the pain, make it stop, for God's sake please do anything to make it stop." Reminds me a lot of the first 6 months of trying to get used to our then-new baby girl being in the house (yeah, now at 2 years old she's a LOT more fun and a little less work, but we were going through hell for awhile).
Isabel Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 I like this song. It's definitely not my favourite on American Idiot, but it's still magical nonetheless It's the kind of song I'd listen to when I'm really down and I just want to allow myself to feel sad for a moment to feel its full impact.
Katarina. Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Give Me Novacaine! I really like the song, though it's not one my top favorites. Well.. I don't really have a top 10 or whatever best songs, so nevermind xDI love every Green Day song, so this one as well
sampy Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 oooooh my, this is one of the greatest GD songs and greatest from American Idiot in my opinion. Alan86 Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 I think this is a really comforting song. I hope they play it for Halloween in Manchester. I would have loved if they played it in Dublin.
04rebhop Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 A great song from American Idiot, yet i don't seem to listen to it as much as i should. I like the opening on the guitar. I would be a bonus if they play it tomorrow or the night after.

alaniluau Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Novacaine is one of my favorite songs. The lyrics, the melody, everything really resonates with me. I can only hope that they'll play it next time I see them.
