Sarahnade. Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 Marc Webb needs a billion pats on the back for creating this masterpiece.

Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 Marc Webb needs a billion pats on the back for creating this masterpiece.Lol@the mental image I got because of that
Sarahnade. Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 ^ Perhaps also a hooker?does somebody know who the man who throws thatbaby is? or isn't he even supposed to be anybody? That's Richard Nixon, the former president. He's mentioned in the song; "Born into Nixon, I was raised in hell."
Mari91 Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 ^yep, thatI thought it was in LA, but I'm not sure.....no idea what building yup definitely LAsome what similar to thins picture. i think i may be sunset boulevard, but im REALLY not sure. ive only gone to LA once and it was 3 years ago...

Sarahnade. Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 At least we know they were in LA Now we need to figure out what building it was.A tall one. But, I don't know. Maybe ask Marc Webb, whoever wants to know? He has a Facebook. I'm sure he's a busy guy and might not have the time, but it's worth a try.
mistress Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 Can someone tell me why the 2 politicians make out?Just curious.there's a phrase, something like "when politicians crawl into bed with each other"it means they're working together toward something on the side, plotting... or something similiar to that..i think that's what it's supposed to represent
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 A tall one. But, I don't know. Maybe ask Marc Webb, whoever wants to know? He has a Facebook. I wish I lived 2 blocks away from it; that'd be awesome. Such an epic view. I'm still unsure about the ending, but the setting was really beautiful - especially with the sunset. Instead of the calm before the storm, it was the calm after the storm, I think. Everything was so quick and chaotic, and at the end, it's all normal again.
Storer Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 I absolutely LOVE when it skips to seeing Green Day on that rooftop. There's just something about the sun on the horizon in that bit that makes my jaw drop every time
Ila Reto Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 that video is amazing. it also opened up some new points of view on the album's storyline. oh and his one little hand gesture (the praying hands) totally made me realize that "the freedom to obey" is refering to religious toleration. thats right, paying attention in AP American History FTW.
Sarahnade. Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 I loved it since it came out, but I've officially fallen in complete love with it. It has to be one of the best things they've ever made in their career. There just aren't enough bad things I can say about; I can barely find one flaw. It's just brilliant.
gabbag Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 So I think I have started a new bedtime ritual I keep watching it on my Ipod right before I go to sleep, it is fantastic

I watch it at least once a day. It's good therapy.
Modern Zero. Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 I thought that the video was fantastic! =D I loved the part where everyone is screaming, "HEY!" and I also thought that the part where the little boy gets pulled into the TV was pretty cool. And Billie's head randomly spinning around seriously made my day. But does anyone know where I can watch this video online without downloading it...?Because I tried to go to GD.com to find out where to watch it, but all it showed was MTV from other countries. There wasn't one for the US, and then obviously I'm not going to find it on youtube....and I can't watch it on TV because for one: Seriously, how often are they even going to show the video on MTV..? and for two: I don't even have MTV, Fuse, VH1, or any of those music channels.... :/

I watch it at least once a day. It's good therapy.Yupp we were discussing before that it was like, "Who needs anti depressants when you have the 21st century breakdown music video!"

And it's off YouTube officially? Because I saw two videos on YouTube yesterday. It is probably off though, and if it's not, it will be soon.Does anyone else know the answer to this question? Because I'm not exactly sure I'm right.Yupp we were discussing before that it was like, "Who needs anti depressants when you have the 21st century breakdown music video!"The 21st Century Breakdown video is seriously visual Prozac.
amy_runs Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 I get excited as the video is ending; the box Billie is standing on makes me LOL every time.
Heather! Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 Amy, your ava is so fucking epic. This is probably my favorite part... Billie's lips <3
Sarahnade. Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 I get excited as the video is ending; the box Billie is standing on makes me LOL every time.Same here! I know it's coming, and I try to prepare myself to not laugh, but it doesn't work. I just end up choking or snorting from trying to suppress major LOLness. But I just can't help but stare at the freakin' box.

We should prescribe it to sad people Warning: Side effects may include obsessive viewing, seeing the video when it is not actually there, hysterical laughter whenever you see boxes. If you feel dizzy or lightheaded while viewing, do not contact your doctor because this is a mild reaction to Billie Joe.
