They made made GDA remove the video? That is a FAIL.

Damn they removed the link i had for youtube....is greenday.com gonna be streaming it soon?

Warner:

so first you set a ban on youtube videos that include green day

then you repeal it

now you're deleting the videos again, and especially the new video?

what exactly are you trying to make here?

fans? money?

well you're going to lose both if you keep pulling these kind of stunts.

Can someone tell me why the 2 politicians make out?

Just curious.

at first, i was kinda of bummed with some of the cheesy animations. 80's style.

but as soon as the part where there is real video kicks in, it all makes sense.

that last line is basically what the whole video is about. "Believe what you see from heroes and cons?"

that's pretty much what the video is about. it's this crazy Pink Floyd "The Wall" inspired video. questioning viewers sanity i guess.

it's brilliant.

at least, that's what im thinking right now, as it is 7 am here and i stayed up all night.

reminds me of the the death of a nation montage by Anti-flag, i really like this vid :D

MUCH better that 21 guns

im trying to put the vid on youtube right now :/

Probably to make a bold statement. Throughout the whole video, there was controversy, at least I think so; like Nixon tossing the baby into the fire. I think they did it to sort of shock and surprise you. But I also think it was nice because the politicians were argueing for a good part of the video, but in the end, they kissed. It made me think of, like, putting aside your differences and kissing and making up. Literally.

I know I said last night that I didn't like it, but I've watched it a bunch of times since then, and now I'm really liking it now. I'm not very fond of the spinning Billie head or the two politicians making out, but overall, it's a great video. Also I take back what I said about KYE, 21 Guns and EJN being better. This one totally beats the other 3.

Okay okay, it grew on me. Like a freaking vicious vine.

I'm in love

This video makes up for the KYE and 21 Guns videos, hands down. I love how this video represents the chaos that our world has gone through, and at the same time, playing Christian and Gloria into it, without it being all cheesy.

A+ Marc Webb, A fucking +.

I can tell by your amazing avatar.

Oh my god. This music video is incredible. It reminds me a lot of Stuck with me. I love the sketch style & how everything spins into each other.

Images I particularly loved:

Billie's head splitting into puzzle pieces (looked like the Gloria painting)

Kids stepping into the television (Scary & captivating)

Billie doing the usual gun to head & red splattering

Blacksmith picking up guitar

The whole segment from baby appearing in belly to the people trapped behind bars

Billie's head spinning out of his chest (his heart is talking?)

This video is a mind-bend & I find cool new things every time I watch it. I'm tempted to say it's their best yet. I found it kind of funny how we all made jokes about hair colour & then you couldn't even see it anyways. It's such a sensory overload; I love it.

Did you really uploaded it? Cause right now, I think Warner Music took it all off. That sucks  I love the video but to watch it i have to wait long time so my computer won't keep making it stop the whole way through. Waiting for a TV screen and not being able to watch it at Youtube or sth is really getting on my nerves this time

I agree with Supermodel*Robot. I think it's their best video to date.

Today, I was watching 'How a Bill Becomes a Law' by School House Rock in Civics. When the two politicians were debating and they bumped foreheads, I was totally waiting for them to start making out. Then I caught myself.

Sorry if I'm spamming this thread btw. :ninja:

I just bought this on iTunes. I've watched it so many times.

I guess I was just fast yesterday, becuase I managed to get the video onto my computer and onto my phone. (after a few hours and six tries, I got it right!)

This video is just amazing. The more I watch it, the more I analize it and notice the little things.

For one, this looks semi-like a political cartoon, in Green Day form. Anyone agree?

is there a full-length version released yet?

I remember watching that in Civics last year! :o

I would've totally thought the same thing.

On a relevent note, I'm watching the video yet again. Still so magnificent.

Easily the best video they have ever made if you ask me :D

I finally got the video on my iPod :D

This really is some bullshit what they're doing but at least I had a reason to use my iTunes gift card I had no other purpose for.
