It's a very un-Green Day like video

But I may be so bold as to say it might be there best video to date

I really enjoyed it

Accept the end... it was like oh hey the real Billie !

And then... oh hey there's Tre and Mi- oh nope, they're gone

But there's Billie again ! Yay !

Remember- US gets EJN single and rest of the world gets 21CB single.

Is it bad that I wish it was the other way around?

Someone got high and made this music video

This. That's exactly what I thought when I saw the ending.

I love it, but then again, it's weird.

Oh, yeah, the ink-turning-into-eyeliner was so awesome.

And I thought of Stuck With Me too. But I think this is better.

This is the most entertaining video they have. I can see this getting very popular.

One of my favorite parts, because its too hard to pick one, is when he says "Homeland Security could kill us all" and does his hand gun thing and the blood splatters behind his head

Brilliant

Even though this single isn't for the US, I hope they still show it here. The video is full of things that are happening in America (i.e market decline, gay rights, etc) and I think it would make an impact on people.

With the EJN video, I've only seen it play at like 2 in the morning on MTV. Nobody is talking about it, and really nobody is aware that Green Day is still putting out videos. I only hear about 21 Guns...

Do you guys feel there is a response happening with the EJN video in America?

A question. Christian finds an acoustic guitar on the floor, and he kind of 'forges' (I'm not sure about the word) an electric guitar. Is there any special significance?

I've yet to see the EJN vid nor do I understand why video releases are only being done in certain part of the world

Who the fuck is handing all the PR shit this time around anyway ?? It's not cool

Possibly rebellion ?

Like... going from soft to hard rock, and the image that comes along with that

That's what I think anyway

I LOVE IT!!!

I watch it over and over again!! there's so many details to see!!

love all the video but I think my fav part the maket decline!

I find that the end is kind of empty if you compare to the rest of the video.

I just have a question for you : does the actors of gloria an christian are de same of 21 guns ?? they kind a look different!!

Posted

Nope pretty sure they're the same :)

I think they're different actors. But I ain't sure. Scratch that, I need glasses.

Omg! I just realized when Christian is 'forging' the guitar there are Christians in the background doing the same thing like a chain reaction! Coolio! :woot:

Yeah, That's one of my favorite parts too!!

And right before that they show the crowd while they're playing at a concert, I loved that!!

My thought was maybe it symbolized the populations' urge to modernize everything?

Just saw it, this is the best Green Day video ever and the best music video of the 00's so far imo.

The direction and the animations are simply brilliant, the entire concept behind the video is very clever, it's fast, sometimes random but it certinly keeps your attention tied to it.

I love it, this is the video I wish was JOS's.

Love the video!

This video... epic. I do think that Green Day has out done themselves. I love how Christian and Gloria wasn't left out of the video... like... how it showed how their part came into play, amazing how they were incorporated in this. This video just stands for everything a lot of us still believe in...♥
