And for the record - I think Joey is quite a handsome young man.

I think 21 Guns is a difficult song to sing live. It's a big out of Billie's register and it's a somber song at the same time. I don't think the performance was bad, not at all, but they just took a different route with the performance, quieting things down since that's the song that is out here in the States right now for the most part. Yeah, the high note at the end was off, but I still liked the performance. And they didn't look drunk or tired to me, they just looked liked it was another awards show and they don't really like being there in the first place. As to him being drunk with his son there, I don't think he would he get sloshed with him there, he didn't seem like it all. I don't know where his son was after they went offstage, but as Billie was leaving, he was looking intently at the audience, like in the direction of where his son was sitting, as if to make sure he was still there. I really don't think he'd be irresponsible and get messed up with him there. That doesn't even make sense!

I just watched their performance. Awesome.

And I'm so glad they won.

Not at all but it cuts both ways some of us get sick of hearing the sycophantic shit and the fawning all over their relationship, its theirs leave them to it. Not everyone has to give a crap, like I said the mods will wade in if anyone steps out of line, that's what they are here for.

I know and I agree. I'm not one to talk alot about their relationships and personal lives because I just feel uncomfortable doing so. It's their private life and should be kept that way. I'm not saying everyone has to care about it. I'm just saying I don't want to hear someone insulting their families. And I wont stand by and watch that happen. She does it alot and someone should have said something along time ago.

Each time I watch this performance it seems better and better.

The audience was reaaally lame though. Except for the girl in the red dress (with red hair, I think) at the end! She was into it. Is she famous?

any pictures of the guys sitting down, watching the show? or am I going to have to mug a paparazzi for those?

everything you say cracks me up!

and the only one i've seen is the one Andres posted a few pages back with Joey and Billie

Joey grew up too. He used to be pretty chubby, but he lost all of that weight.

Jakub on the other hand is still chubby, but he will lose that.

Hee I enjoyed the backstage video :D

I thought that was amazing tbh. Billie looked really into it tonight, almost to the point where I thought he was going to cry. 21 guns is always a bad song choice live and on the tour it never surprised me how Billie let the audience sing all the high parts but nevertheless I thought that was a really raw and vulnerable performance.

&& I loved it :)

Agreed, that's what I loved about it

On a huge awards show it felt like a really personal, intimate performance. I think that's what I love about 21 Guns live, it always has a vulnerability about it. Totally different to the power of the album version but just as enjoyable in a different way.

Isn't it?!

Did anyone else notice when Billie Joe taps the microphone and is like, "Is this thing on?"' the woman who asks the first question is like, "yes" in a really pissy and impatient way! haha

and thanks. :)

... :mellow:I don't know if you're being sarcastic in the first bit or not.

And I think she did. I see what she writes about her. She's insanely jealous and bashes her at any chance possible.

Let's not forget she's also the person who said someone should shove a hot glass up Billie Joe's backside....

Nice.

But whatever, if my sticking up for Bill's family seems to offend so many people, I guess I'm wrong. I should just let people say nasty shit?!

I'm just getting really sick of it.

I'll just shut up about it now. I've made my point. She shouldn't be allowed to post hateful things about Billie Joe's family.

I wasn't been sarcastic at all. No one knows personally Adie, but the fact the she has inspired Billie Joe in writing wonderful songs is enough for me to tell that she's just amazing :)

I'm not in Parinaz's mind. I was only trying to ease this situation in where everyone was bashing her, maybe without neither understand what she was saying since her inglish is kinda inaccurate.

That's all, period.

I adored 21 Guns on tour, it was a beautiful song, I loved it every night, I even loved the Gloria and Christian kiss in that setting yet on the video it makes me cringe. He sings this song so beautifully live, 9 times I heard him sing it 9 times I got goosebumps :)

Last night's performance did bring back the concerts to me, it's an even better song live what with the visuals and the piano and all that. I still really want a recording from the 24th.

Was it Alicia Keys singing that did it for him or just Jay-Z. .. from the video he looked like he was kind of enjoying it.

Surely there's a Youtube of that somewhere? I think that show was my fave of the UK tour until the Foxies :)

I just watched the whole performance from last night and It wasn't as bad as people were making it out, his voice is a little croaky so would yours be if you'd sang as much as he has the last 6 + months.
