Smoothed Out Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 The touring has definately taken it out of them, you can tell that, but I still think it was a very beautiful, understated performance. Whatever they do, 21 Guns is still a wonderful song to hear live. They are still human, but always put their best into whatever they do.Oh and I think Adie is beautiful, Billie & Adie make a perfect couple. Period.

Just not up to their usual - no surprise there after all those months of touring. Billie Joe seemed perfectly normal at the acceptance speech and back stage interview - not drunk, not ill, just tired. Mike's hair is looking fine. Re: the Adam Lambert performance- somewhat outrageous, but not too bizarre. Lots of crotch grabbing and suggestive dancing, some making out with random musicians and dancers. I was actually fairly disappointed in the song itself...I was looking for something great to come out of him for his debut album.
