The performance wasn't that bad when I watched it a second time. It definetly wasn't up to their usual standard but it could have been worse. At least he didn't mess up the lyrics. I think it's annoying that people who aren't fans will probably think they always sound like that live when their generally really amazing live.

Well, I only stayed up until it was over, which was 11. It wasn't bad for me because I'm in America. But they were one of the last things. I sat through all that crap for them to be one of the last things. Guuuuuuh.

But, I have to say, seeing Billie slowly nodding along to Jay-Z, looking dead tired, made me laugh a bit.

LOL..you are right about the American Music Awards, I found that in general they were focusing mostly on country music....my friend and I were goofing around when the country artist came on LOL, its was torture waiting for Green Day to come on..and when they finally said Green Day, I said its about time!!!
