Hermione Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 :36 second audio clip ripped from the John Roecker screening of HLAHG. This song was never released. Ahh but it was , it's When It's Time. I remember when this clip surfaced after the screening and we weren't sure if we'd ever hear the song properly. So glad they decided to use it for the musical and record and release it.
Mommy's Little Nightmare Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 I don't quite know what to think. I do agree that the storyline doesn't fit with the story we all know... but like John said, it was while they were still recording. Before any of it was fully developed. I liked it a lot, as a short film. I liked it less in terms of Green Day. And I think some of the songs they used didn't fit with the scenes they were in, but outside the Green Day box- I really fucking enjoyed it. And in terms of the Green Day, I liked the clip where she was in the studio while they were recording. And I loved hearing Too Much Too Soon, because it must have just been a demo at that point. ...and the dig on the Offspring he threw in there made me giggle.

Liam Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 Here's the Official Video of They're All Out Without You!!!! vimeo.com/34144535 This has been posted already and people have been talking about it the past few pages.
Hermione Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 ...and the dig on the Offspring he threw in there made me giggle. Lol same here
Red Lights Flash Posted January 19, 2012 Author Posted January 19, 2012 Lol, John posted this: "What does Green Day Authority and Travis Barker have in common? They are afraid to show PENIS!!!!!" Someone's bitter.
Hermione Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 Didn't see anyone calling Green Day bitter when they critcized Walmart for not wanting to sell their album because they thought it was inappropriate for the people who visit their store. I understand GDA's position but I don't think there's anything wrong with Roecker commenting on it.
Fuzz Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 I noticed his comment that he likes GreenDay.com. Never saw it on their site either He can be feel however he wants about us.
Amanda Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 Send him a pic of your penis with a pink ribbon on it, Fuzzicle.
Flyingdonutz Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 Goodness fucking gracious that was the most amateur thing I have ever seen a professional try to make. I didn't want to see that guys dick, but for some reason he wanted to do that. I'm afraid of the quality of HLAHG now. Seriously, that was just.. dumb. On all levels. The camera work was awful, the acting was half great and half terrible and there was almost zero plot. And the writing was terrible lol. I hate to be a pessimist but in this case I just can't help it.
green day is Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 My god that was fucking terrible. At first I couldn't believe that I hadn't seen it before, but I think I know why it isn't widely circulated now. I'm afraid of the quality of HLAHG now. Ditto.
Todd Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 Oh god. That was terrible. I didn't even watche a full 8 minutes of it. HLAHG actually has Green Day in it, so it can't be too bad
Hero_Of_The_Hour Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 ...read about five comments...no longer want to watch...and I normally am not swayed by the opinion of others but it wasn't looking too promising to begin with... G.D. haven't even mentioned HLAHG facebook or the fact that the movie may be released next year...hope it doesn't suck now based on what I've read...hmm.
Jon Benjamin Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 I don't see why the movie would suck we saw 20 minutes that was aired and it wasn't amateur looking.
Todd Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 They're All Out Without You has nothing to do with HLAHG. It's just a crappy movie featuring AI songs, kinda like that CSI. Yeah, it was made by the same person, but this has acting by actors and HLAHG has real footage of Green Day
Flyingdonutz Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 They're All Out Without You has nothing to do with HLAHG. It's just a crappy movie featuring AI songs, kinda like that CSI. Yeah, it was made by the same person, but this has acting by actors and HLAHG has real footage of Green Day ... the movie is based around American Idiots story, mate. And it just blew. It's not the fucking actors it's the direction that was terrible. Trying to make some sentimental scene of a naked dude in his bathtub stabbing himself is bad enough, but it's even worse that he tries to do this right after just such a stupid terrible story. It would have made a fucking fantastic parody though, that's for sure. The 20 minutes of that HLAHG were good. Probably only because Green Day was in it, though.
green day is Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 ... the movie is based around American Idiots story, mate. Nooooo it sure as hell is not. It's based on some crazy ideas John Roecker got about the characters and half-assedly filmed.
Overjoyyed Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 Weird and not in a good way. Was like a high school project. Not the JOS we know and love. A guy who likes to pretend to be Jesus is not at all what JOS stands for.
Flyingdonutz Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 Nooooo it sure as hell is not. It's based on some crazy ideas John Roecker got about the characters and half-assedly filmed. He said at the beginning of the video "this is my interpretation of the story in American Idiot". Obviously he's not trying to replicate what Billie had done but Tman was trying to make it sound like the story is entirely unrelated to the album. Or at least that's what it sounded like.

It's about as related to the actual media as my House/Scrubs XXX crossover fanfiction is to its.
Todd Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 It's about as related to the actual media as my House/Scrubs XXX crossover fanfiction is to its. Ummm.... Did you just make that up, or do you actually make this kind of fanfiction? Just curious.
