Maddy. Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 I'm getting it next week, hopefully. Will it still be in stores in England then?
Astrid. Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 Aww that's a real pity I guess I'll have to start working on my dad than, so that he'll allow me to buy it via Ebay, even though it's gonna be dead expensive. He'll never allow me to buy it through someone that bought it and sends it to me, and I send the money or something....Is it easily findable in the UK? And will it still be sold next week? A friend of mine is going to London in about a week, I might try to ask whether she can buy me a copy, but if that's not really possible anyway, I won't waste time on waiting for something that isn't gonna happen.I think you ran outta luck But ebay has a few Weekly magazines will last like a week in stores. Usually. But I don't know how it's going in England but here you can order previous issues in stores Not all but I know Voskamp did it last year. But they don't have Kerrang, but maybe they could order it in. I did that with another magazine (which they dont sell) and they ordered a copy in for me For a fair price too.
American Basket Case Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 Kerrang's site has a new issue up, and it's not the Legends issue! Going to call B&N when I get off of here...
OliDayyy Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 I want it so bad Does it remain in stores for several weeks (at least when I'm in London in 10 days ) ?

JHyena86 Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 I was lookin on ebay and someone else finally put some for sale, but they also want $25...seems like us Americans are gonna have to pay too much if we want it

Never heard of that, but I'm gonna just aks other bookshops who also sell mags if they can do that for me.Thanks!
gabbag Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 Kerrang's site has a new issue up, and it's not the Legends issue! Going to call B&N when I get off of here...Because apparently is a 'special' issue, that seems quite impossible to get
JHyena86 Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 I love how this special is so hard to get, but the Rolling Stone specials here in America for Michael Jackson and the Jonas Sisters are STILL on the shelves months later...
Kayfabe Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 How much does it cost...here in the US? £6 is roughly about 10$ooohhh.... I feel so guilty about you non UK residents the retarded postmen have gone on strike anyway, I doubt anything would survive a jouney halfway round the world
American Basket Case Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 Okay, B&N still hasn't gotten any new issues (special or regular) of Kerrang in this week yet. ^^ Kerrang ones are usually out for months tooThat makes me feel better.£6 is roughly about 10$How much does a regular issue of Kerrang cost? I'm asking 'cause when I called B&N, they gave $10-11 as the price, which I assume would be a special issue (unless regular issues cost that much here!).ooohhh.... I feel so guilty about you non UK residents the retarded postmen have gone on strike anyway, I doubt anything would survive a jouney halfway round the worldHmm, maybe that's why the last parcel I received from the UK looked like this. (Thankfully, the poster was fine.)BTW, here's a good site for converting currency - www.xe.com

Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 BTW, here's a good site for converting currency - www.xe.comI just use the from Google
American Basket Case Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 £2.20, according to dashboard that's $3.50Thanks. Unfortunately, I got a call back from the bookstore, and the guy hadn't looked carefully when he read the price to me. Turns out it was for last year's Legends issue, and they won't be getting this year's at all. (although why last year's issue still shows up is odd...)Called 3 other bookstores (Borders and B&N in different locations) as a last-ditch effort, and no place here has it, so I'm back at square one. Where's the cry emoticon?
Hermione Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 My brother came round yesterday and he'd LEFT THE MAGAZINE BEHIND so I thought I wouldn't have it for like a week. But his girlfriend thoughtfully brought it with her when she came over here unexpectedly this morning which was very nice of her Since getting internet access I haven't bought any magazines with Green Day in them, I always just read the scans. I haven't bought one since 2006. So it's really nice to have this to hold in my hands . Lovely pictures too.I HAVE IT!! I took the risk of getting caught by the police and drove to Queensferry.
