And yeah, ok the Garda car and uniforms were more English looking than Irish, but other than that I thought they were literally just taking the piss the entire time, rather than banging Irish culture right on the head

As was already mentioned, you get club shows, FBHT, signings etc.. and we generally just get the arena shows and for this tour a soundcheck contest. So i think its only fair we get a big summer show. Not trying to be rude or anything but ask yourself why so many big bands do huge shows in Europe in the summer as opposed to the US, Foo Fighters did hyde park and wembley stadium, RHCP did slane, Metallica did a few big euro summer shows a couple of years ago as well and of course GD at milton keynes. Could it be they just prefer to do those kinds of shows here? Surely thats not an unreasonable assumption
