!Viva La Analee! Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 My mom was in the room while I was watching this, and she thought little five-year-old Billie was "adorable."Haha, I know. My living rooms was filled of "awwwwwss" the whole time. It was hilarious.
dolce Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 It was nothing new, but I love seeing anything Green Day related. I especially enjoyed the beginning about Billie's childhood. That was cute. They did get some stuff wrong though - really obvious stuff too (like the WRONG ex-wife of Tre! That's really just - a stupid mistake).
Anko Posted October 2, 2009 Author Posted October 2, 2009 Back on topic I loved all of the old footage and hearing the fact about why Billie throws his arms up after songs during performancesI must have missed that part because I don't remember hearing about that.
Sarahnade. Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 I loved hearing Larry talk, and Billie's piano teacher talk too. And am I only one that laughed a little when the dude from Mr. T Experience said, "Millie" on accident when talking about Billie and Mike? I liked the thing about them go-carting a lot, and how when Rob Cavallo came in, they got done to business. I loved hearing from Mark Kohr as well. And I think I saw a few photos and video snippets I hadn't seen before, which was cool.
-AreWeTheWaiting- Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 Man, all this good stuff you guys are talking about makes me really want to see it I was so excited when I figured out I had the bio channel, but then I realized that Canada doesn't play the same stuff as the US :/ oh well, hopefully it will get posted eventually.
amy_runs Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 What was the interview when Billie was all "Don't degrade us" and in a grouchy mood? Anyone have a link for the whole interview?
Angela. Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 What was the interview when Billie was all "Don't degrade us" and in a grouchy mood? Anyone have a link for the whole interview?I'm curious about that, too. I don't think I've ever stumbled across that interview before.
Mar Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 Guys, my mom bought a VCR this week, and so I'm glad I mentioned this was on our cable, and she taped it for me! I can't wait to watch it!
Sarahnade. Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 I thought it was interesting, but Driven and Behind the Music are much better, imo.
Savior of Rebellion Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 awwh! I had to miss it, was it any good?
sallysimpson Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 I thought it was interesting, but Driven and Behind the Music are much better, imo.Totally agree. There wasn't any new interview bits with the band. I know they used footage from the CBS morning interview, Bullet in a Bible, and Billie Joe's Times Talk (which you can download on iTunes). The third-party anecdotes were interesting, though.

I know they used footage from the CBS morning interview, Bullet in a Bible, and Billie Joe's Times Talk (which you can download on iTunes). The third-party anecdotes were interesting, though.Agreed. I always love hearing from Larry Livermore, though, and it was cool hearing from Billie's piano teacher and Mark Kohr. Those 3 people made it for me. It had some cool moments, but it was mostly just same old, same old. I didn't like that they only spoke about 21CB for, like, 3 minutes. The first half of the show was about their early days, and the next 20 miuntes are all about how they almost ended, and they squeeze AI, the musical, and 21CB together in the last 10 minutes. I don't know - I just always got annoyed when that happens.
kazoo Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 [this is super late]i actually found this really entertaining. i learned some stuff i didnt know.i also heard GDA help supply alot of the media? goodferdem it was really cool seeing Larry and billie's piano teacher...and my mom was laughing during 'Look for Love'and my dad would NOT stop commenting on every time he saw Tre with different colored hair..but overall, it was well done. im glad they touched of FBHT and The Network. i wish it was on again. hahaha

insomniaticnimrod Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 What was the interview when Billie was all "Don't degrade us" and in a grouchy mood? Anyone have a link for the whole interview?i have seen bits and parts of that interview, but not the interview as a wholein this vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=36Tzxgsm6qA at 14:01 they show a little bit of it with Billie talking about how he hates celebrities, and then they show a little more of it near the end of the vid at 43:19 of the guys talking about how they are not the most sensitive people in the world...yeah that vid is really long lol, i think ive seen some more of it in other vids, but i dont know which onesi think he was in a kinda grouchy mood lolwell i guess Mari91 found the actual full interview, im no help lol, i missed the post haha
Sarahnade. Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 Well, their tour was getting hectic at that point I think, and the topic they were talking about wasn't something that would make the boys jump for joy. Billie seems to get up-at-arms about the Gilman topic; he did seem extra grouchy, though. Poor guy.Ah, I forgot about the mention of The Network and FBHT. That was cool. And the fake Cigs and Valentines cover seriously confused me for quite a while.
Jaymee!! Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 Oh man watching those older interviews...I love how Mike and Tre had higher voices and Billie had a deeper voice, now they've reversed The difference in Tre's voice always makes me laugh.
Jaymee!! Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 ^LOL, yeah, I love that too. He sounds like a little kid!haha This is probably one of the most pointless posts EVER.
