Mar Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 VH1 is the same god damn thing... except a little more tolerable (idk why but it is for some reason). MTV and VH1 are both owned by the same company (Viacom if I'm not mistaken) so it is understandable why they are alike. The other music channel that Viacom owns is CMT (a country :down: station).... they actually play music videos quite often (not that I watch it) as I have noticed when my mom watches it or when I'm flipping through channels.Yeah, they're the same, but like you said, for some reason I've always found myself tolerating VH1 more...but now they're getting just as many stupid reality shows!21 Guns is on VH1 almost every morning True! I was in my living room the other morning and my dad was flipping through the channels and he passed by the video! I was like UM HDU PASS 21 GUNS GO BACK

So I have a couple of crappy music channels that could show the video so I would actually get to watch a Green Day video on TV! But I haven't seen it yet even though I've had digital for a week.To be honest though, the half-arsed and low-key way this wonderful song's being released, without a proper video, has really dulled any excitement I would have had for it. None of the singles from this album have excited me, they might as well have not released any as far as I'm concerned. If and when they decide to do something interesting or remotely exciting with a single I might be interested.

But I agree with you, the promoting for this whole album had been absolute shit. The only single that actually got good promoting was KYE with the whole MTV thing, and we all know what happened to it. Personally, I think that the whole VMA performance was boring, and hardly had anything worth remembering, other then the fact that audience members got pulled up. I think because of that, nobody really paid attention to the new song.That and the Kanye thing overshadowed everything.

They put music on in the middle of the fucking night or when they are having some sort of stupid award shows.At least New Zealand actually has channels(C4) that show actual music(inbetween cartoons)
