Hmm I'm positive it's for the Wembly show not the London 02 shows (23rd&24th) because I havent got tickets for Wembley and I've been trying to work out how I would get there..I'll check when I get home

wembley is the 1st november, o2 is the 23rd/24th oct, i emailed moaning to them about getting it wrong. i entered even though i dont have tickets for that show!

if anyone wants to enter (cos i'm kind ) the question is "what is the name of the song billie joe armstrong did when he was 5 years old" just send you answer to swag@kerrang.co.uk put Green day in the subject and send you answer, name, age, address and contact number, you must also be over 18 i think it said, and concert tickets and travel and accommodation ARE NOT included

really its not worth buying the copy if you just want green day, its like less that 1/4 page,if you want to enter just copy the email address down and what you need to send in.

It's definitely misleading on the front cover. They've competitions like this with bands in the past and it's actually been the band performing in your living room or something.

Damn them, Kerrang. Still, I wanna work for them.

I think it would get pretty crowded, I wish I had a basement. That's why American houses are cool. I'd have at least 200 people down in that basement.

I need to e-mail them and see what criteria I would need. If it takes going to college and doing another English course or even a writing degree, I don't mind. Even though I don't really need that kinda crap IMO.

I'm confused.... what are the criteria? It seems pretty odd if you have to have tickets too that concert in order to enter, then there's only a few people who can even enter.......

I can't really get myself exited over this... even if accomodation and tickets etc are included, then it's probably not international... the being over 18 thing is the least of it all.

The K! Green Day splash on the front page is very misleading in my opinion. :/

And they also mess the dates/venues up in the print! It says you will attend the Wembley soundcheck on October 23rd, which is the London 02 shows. But reading it again I think its definately for the first London 02 date as they mention the dates again.

Here's the small print/terms + conditions if anyones confused, copied straight from article:

"Please note, you have to be 16 years old or above to enter/win. The prize does not include a ticket to the Green Day show on October 23rd or travel to/from London, or accomodation. Only one entry per person, please".

Hope that clears up anyone's issues about age/what you get etc.

Ahh yes, this competition is for the show I'm going to. I went into Sainsbury's this morning with a pen and paper and wrote down the details out of the magazine so I didn't have to buy it

I saw this magazine when i was buying my lunch today. I thought it meant you get your own private gig or something. I don't have tickets for this show and i live too far away, so I'm not entering.
