I love this song! What a great choice

I actually used to listen to this song on repeat for hours on end, back last year. It's a fantastic song. In fact, the whole album is great.

One of my favorite songs off one of my favorite albums!

This is one of those songs i could never get sick of, no matter how many times i've heard it. I identify so much with the fear of growing up and getting older, changing and everything. Yet even as this song's addressing such a frightening topic, it still manages to sound upbeat and happy. Such an excellent song, I love it to death!

I don't know if it's just me, but when Billie sings, "It keeps my head spinning around" doesn't it kinda sound like, "It keeps my husband in the room"...? Now everytime I listen to this song, I hear that instead of the actual lyrics. LOL

this song is amazing. it really captures what being at that age is about- trying to find yourself and feeling the world zip past you in the meantime.

Ah, definitely a top fiver in my Green Day love list. I adore Billie's voice in this. He sounds so young & snotty & insecure. I also think the toilet flushing is a fantastic bonus. Their rhythms were so tight & chunky (I totally just invented that term but it makes sense to me) back then.

i was actually listening to Kerplunk yesterday on the way to school

i think this is a song a lot of people can relate to

when i first heard the middle of this song i remember being shocked and replaying it over and over to see if there was a toilet really flushing lol

For some reason, this one of my least favourite Green Day songs. It's my least favourite from Kerplunk aside from the extra songs on the end. But like all Green Day songs it's still a song I enjoy.

I love the sentiment of the song, of wondering about the future, and the quirky way he puts it across in the lyrics talking about an "old man in woman's shoes" . At the same time the lyrics do make me cringe a little bit which is probably why it's one of my least favourites, but you'd certainly never get another song like it and I like that. So in the end it charms me more than it make me cringe.

The "waste away-ay-ay" part is pretty cool too

Hermione - I love this song, but I do think it's odd. I had been surprised that everyone discussing it was leaving such positive comments. I'm glad to hear that someone else has had the same reaction that I had when I first heard it. I've grown to love it since, though .

i kinda agree with Hermie & Jnet, it's an odd way to get a point across, but i think that's why it's so unique and a nice song overall.

he gets hit with this reflection of what he's doing and if it'll really turn out okay in the future if he continues his lifestyle.

I love the lyrics in this song! The first time I heard them I just outright laughed myself silly. I find them cute & fun.
