I just have to say, being a Green Day fan the last 16 years... Yesterday was Green Day like they always used to be. Billie used to look very uncomfortable, saying weird stuff in the past. And if he had a few beers too many..it wasn't the first time. Billie was totally wasted at a MTV new years eve party some years back. It was only after AI period that they all of a sudden acted so "normal" at award shows etc.. I read many times that Billie doesn't like hanging out with "celebs".. I guess Green Day is just being themselves again, not caring what other people say about them.

I heard some news today that some parents were really angry about what Green Day said yesterday, guess the cock award thing is one of them. Green Day is a punk rock band. They do and say what the hell they want to!

I really think that he was going off of her question of whether he was nervous about the awards and then he really looked at her and said that she made him nervous in his pants. I think everyone is taking it a bit out of context. She was a hot chick who asked a question about him being nervous and he turned it around and made it about her.

I found it more infuriating that of what she said to Tre than the pants comments, but I love that he called her out on it... but then again, I think the entire thing was just funny and awkward. And infuriating might be too strong a word.

Anyway... I don't think he looked comfortable throughout the awards. There is a picture on Getty of the band sitting down at the Awards and Billie does not look into the entire event at all.
