emmaILGD! Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 the only thing I know is that he was abnormal that night.Billie's never been 'normal'.
LearnToForget Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 Billie's never been 'normal'.thanks xD i was about to say that.i dont think he was acting weird in any way.he was absolutely normal for Billie Joe standards!
frankiessister Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 I hate when people bash David Hasselhoff because of his alcohol issues. I mean, don't get me wrong, the guy is a pain in the ass with an oversized ego and no talent at all. But he is also a very ill person; none of you underestimate the dangers of alcoholism, as far as I can judge from your (really odd) comments on Billie Joe and his supposed drunkenness. Well, BJ might have some drinks too many every once in a while, but Hasselhoff is a true alcoholic, and that's nothing to make fun of.
Beathe. Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 Yeah he did, you can tell by his eyes. ANd I know someone will say, "Because he's tired." Tired people dont act like that BJ completly surprised me the way he acted at the awards. No he didn't. His eyes looked normal.Like someone said before, he didn't talk like he was drunk and he didn't walk like he was drunk either.
parinaz Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 thanks xD i was about to say that.i dont think he was acting weird in any way.he was absolutely normal for Billie Joe standards!it was abnormal even for billie.
frankiessister Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 thanks xD i was about to say that.i dont think he was acting weird in any way.he was absolutely normal for Billie Joe standards!Well, I do actually think that he was acting a bit weird, but we don't know the reason for this, so some people should stop making up fairy tales on that.
parinaz Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 what makes us to talk about his drunkness this time,he was definitely abnormal, weird & stuff last night. stop it then
Beathe. Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 - U2 still piss me off.Hell yeah. That they won best live act was pure bullshit. How many off the MTV viewers like U2? Not many. Bono is sooooooo gay. what makes us to talk about his drunkness this time,he was definitely abnormal, weird & stuff last night. stop it thenFirst off all BJ is always weird. Have you ever seen a drunk person before? Cause he didn't act like he was drunk.
parinaz Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 Bono is sooooooo gay.what do you say about Michael Stipe then? First off all BJ is always weird. Have you ever seen a drunk person before? Cause he didn't act like he was drunk.no,this time he was really weird.
Beathe. Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 what do you say about Michael Stipe then? no,this time he was really weird. I don't know who he is. So I'll say who? That's the way I like it. But seriously some of you are overreacting.
LearnToForget Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 Well, I do actually think that he was acting a bit weird, but we don't know the reason for this, so some people should stop making up fairy tales on that.I don't know BJ that well...so I guess, you can judge that better, but we really don't know the reason for it.Might have been some other issues, he tried to deal with. It's not always alcohol that makes people act weird. He could have been also just tired. Hell yes, people start acting very weird when they're tired. However, we don't know what the reason was and I would highly appreciate it if we just stopped talking about it.As you, frankiessister, said before, alcoholism is a very serious topic.Let me on that note just apologize for what I said about David Hasselhoff. I didn't mean to make fun of him. I know, it's no excuse, but Tré started it and I just went on with it saying it was funny what they said, though I also said to a friend of mine that it was very rude (should have mentioned that in my review as well). So yeah, sorry!
Katarina. Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 So there are backstage vids/interviews from Green Day? I'll check them out later if there are any
LearnToForget Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 So there are backstage vids/interviews from Green Day? I'll check them out later if there are any i don't know if there are videos of it yet (there will be, though), but Pete Wentz hosted the backstage "show" and talked to some musicians.the last people he talked to were two i dont know and Mike and Tré.it was pretty funny...except for maybe some comment by Tré. >__> you'll see.
parinaz Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 I don't know who he is. So I'll say who? That's the way I like it. But seriously some of you are overreacting.he's from R.E.M.

My comment wasn't even directed at you, it was more like something of a general rant.I actually didn't even see that interview bit with Pete Wentz, so I don't exactly know what Tré said; but still, making fun of a serious illness is no good, even if it comes from one of our beloved Green Day members.
parinaz Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 in one of these interviews billie said to the interviewer that she's nervous, too. it was shocking, the way he said that....

NoVaCaInE! Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 ok, seriously what the fuck? So what if he was a little tipsy or drunk or whatever, i honestly dont think he acted any different than at any other awards shows. It was possibly my favourite appearance by Green Day since 21stCB came out.Plus you people really need to understand that touring is not easy. For fuck sake I went to 3 green day gigs in one week and i was absolutely shattered, these guys do it nearly EVERY night, so there's probably a reason BJ wasnt at that backstage party or whatever. And to be quite frank, Parinaz I dont understand how you even like Green Day. EVERY time there's an appearance or they do something you criticise them STRAIGHT away, its ridiculous. I dont think i've ever actually seen you praise the band for anything at all.
parinaz Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 And to be quite frank, Parinaz I dont understand how you even like Green Day. I dont think i've ever actually seen you praise the band for anything at all.no I don't praise anyone. but i didn't say anything bad about billie or whoever in this thread. guys, is this true that billie talked about his nervousness in one interview and then told the interviewer that she's nervous, too?
LearnToForget Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 pete wentz only interviewd with mike & tre?yes, he did. BJ wasn't there.
RobyRoom Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 R.E.M. is totally gay.So what's the point?!Green Day somehow are too. Billie Joe looked gay-er than ever yesterday night
*Jade_Green_Day* Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 Their performance was amazing! Minority was a shock! And as for all this talk of "Oh Billie's a depressed drunk", I really don't think he is. When it comes to something like MTV, I'd definitely drink to make it easier, and he probably just misjudged his intake. You're all only worried because he got wasted at FHT on Sunday, and because of his past, so I can see why you're worrying, but I really don't think there's a problem. We've all made mistakes with what we've said whilst drunk, and whilst listening to those comments weren't comfortable, I believe that he only said them to make himself feel more comfortable and to get a few laughs.I think if you're all going to continue down the alcholic Billie route, we're going to need a lot more evidence.Plus you people really need to understand that touring is not easy. For fuck sake I went to 3 green day gigs in one week and i was absolutely shattered, these guys do it nearly EVERY night, so there's probably a reason BJ wasnt at that backstage party or whatever.This.
