Yes, he was drunk, but it's not like he burnt down the place or anything, he's just tired and he needs to relax and all.

Besides, EMA's ... all night sat on your seat, watching performance you may not like instead of taking a nap or something, and free alcohol, well of course he'll go drunk, it's understandable.

He's ok, that's what i believe. He wouldn't do anything that much stupid to ruin his career/life/family.

I agree. Granted it probably wasn't the best idea to get that hammered at such a public event, but I don't think it's that big of a deal. It was ok for the Rev to get wasted like crazy the other night, and now it's bad? They all sounded great, so while the win was awkward, the performance didn't suffer IMO. As for that pre-show interview, I certainly think it was a combo of an awkward attempt to lighten the mood due to nerves, as well as being a bit less cautious about his words thanks to the drunkness.

But whatever. I thought that they were great!

It looked to me as if Billie was his usual self making jokes and beng a bit drunk.

Hes a rock star, hes supposed to be a bit drunk at these kinda shows. There performance was brilliant though it did catch me by surprise as it ha no introduction. And i didnt like the fact that they lost out on best group, But best Rock (Cock) is pretty cool

Just watched the performance and I didn't like it I kind of thought it was messy, the whole bit of him going into the audience is fine at a GD show but it really seemed out of place tonight, I closed my eyes and wished for him to hurry the fuck up and get back on he stage. I love how he can get away with that even at an awards show. They go away from the usual boring performances & turn it into a real GREEN DAY SHOW. They make the most of their seven minutes.

Just watched Green Day's performance at the EMA's. I'm 99% sure that is Bill Schnieder with Billie going through the crowd. I said that after their performance at the MTV VMA's a while back, but some people didn't think it was him.
