BIBARAGURORIA Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 Oh yeah!!I remember that, He said something about BIAB was stupid because it was in england because it was 'anti-american' or something.or at least I think that was him...My macro is in your sig. >_>Yeah, I remember that.
Jimmy the Kid Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 Religious nutcases...we could do with less of them.Yep... F*** religion
GDM Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 Where do all the stupid people come from? GOD DAMMIT.They are crawling out of Glenn Beck's ass.I had to take a break this year from politics because of the stupid people. The stupid people have been quite overwhelming this year.I long for some rational discussion about the issues. It ain't gonna happen.
Anko Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 Oh yeah!!I remember that, He said something about BIAB was stupid because it was in england because it was 'anti-american' or something.or at least I think that was him...I believe so,asshole
Sunshine2385 Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 I had to take a break this year from politics because of the stupid people.I just gave up on it, seriously whatever!! :bored:
Fulano Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 He got offended because he wanted.Jews won't go to visit Nazi family houses...Americans won't go to Middle EastAtheists wont go to churchYour friend shouldnt go to green day shows
chaoschloeshesarebel Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 I'm a catholic, and i don't really consider myself to be very religious, i mean like, i don't practice or anything, but i can see why it may have offended your friend, but i think his reaction may have been a bit over the top.I mean, like somebody said earlier on, who's to say that ipcture is of Jesus behind the cross?! :/
¡VivaLaAndrea! Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 I mean, like somebody said earlier on, who's to say that ipcture is of Jesus behind the cross?! :/I think it looks kind of like Charles Manson, personally.I have no idea where I got that from, but... yeah. Hahaha
Mar Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 AI pissed off Brandon FlowersI love the Killers, yet BFlo drives me up the wall 90% of the time
chaoschloeshesarebel Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 I think it looks kind of like Charles Manson, personally.Haha! it probably is!
Helly 77 Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 WOW i'll never leave green day concert!!! never!!! and i think you are right... it is just thier opinion and we respect them but i love jesus and i won't feel comfortable when some one says something bad about him... also he has the right to go or to leave green day concert!!!i mean why " he shouldn't go to green day concert" just becouse of his believes!! that's rubbishi love green day but i have my own personality, i will follow my rules not their rules.... i will do what i think it's right but i respect them so much, they affected me a lot... sorry i'm out of the real subject ... he should expect that coming .... they are green day!!! and .....offended by them ???? not yet
Guest jetblackheart Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 i love green day but i have my own personality, i will follow my rules not their rules.... i will do what i think it's right but i respect them so much, they affected me a lot... sorry i'm out of the real subject ...I agree, no-one should ever follow anything blindly. Not even a band. I hate it when people become "fans" of something or someone and then start repeating what they are saying like some robots or clones or whatever. Those are the people that created all the problems in the world. Blind followers are just as guilty as the leaders.

cherylr Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 it's the fact that everyone groups us under one category and thinks we're all like that.we're not. I don't agree with some aspects of my religion, but I like my religion because it has the most things I like in it. religion is personal.most people don't agree 100% with their religion which is why they give up.but i say you can still be a certain religion without following the rules 100%Agreed. Thank you.
cherylr Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 Now, it's all easy for me to say "You should have told them what bullcrap religion is!!one!" from behind my computer screen, but when it's a friend it's much more tough :/ Still though, he is fucking insane for leaving a green day concert. The bible of Christianity promotes hatred, incest, and murder amongst many things. I don't care what anyone fucking says, I oppose that shit.EDIT: Whoops I misread.Jesus doesn't promote hatred, incest, and murder. Quite the opposite. Jesus promotes "love your neighbor" and "turn the other cheek". You'll find hatred, incest, and murder in the Old Testament. And that's the Jewish Bible. Christianity accepts the Old Testament, but I wouldn't call the Old Testament the "bible of Christianity." Now, I can't vouch for what idiotic people have done through the years in the name of Christianity. But I can vouch for what Jesus taught.
¡VivaLaAndrea! Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 i mean why " he shouldn't go to green day concert" just becouse of his believes!! that's rubbishIt's not because* of his beliefs*, it's because if you're going to spend $50 on a concert ticket, you should probably know a little something about the band and their music, and if you're offended by things like East Jesus Nowhere and the artwork that goes along with it to the point where you're willing to leave, you shouldn't have spent the money in the first place. It was actually very rude of him to just leave his friend. But if you're going to be putting that much time and money into going to a concert and you have no idea what to expect, most people aren't gonna have that much sympathy for you.
Miss Hedgie Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 Its a shame he got offended. But as people have said its not as if Billie said "Don't believe in God."I've only just rediscovered my faith. That doesn't mean i'm not going to my Green Day show.I like alot of music like Marilyn Manson that has opinions and views on religion. I like the music. I listen to what the band has to say. I respect their opinions. I'm still gonna go nuts at East Jesus Nowhere.I'm sure you guys will too whatever your beliefs.

Rebel07 Posted October 15, 2009 Author Posted October 15, 2009 Well, that's tough..but hasn't your friend informed himself about Green Day and what East Jesus Nowhere is about?he's blinded by religion.i told him not too long ago, that he's just making me love green day so much more cause they are proving a massive point to me with that song
