Rare Green Day Stuff

How do you mean, original? Do you mean the first ones printed? Because you would know if you had those; you'd pay a lot for them, and as far as I know all the first pressings (or the first few) are in paper sleeves. If you ever get one with the Laytonville address you've got an original (though so are some with the Berkeley address too). That said though the cardboard sleeve ones are still pretty decent to have, specially if they were Lookout ones as they don't print them anymore, and there's always a chance they're one of the older -reissues. Plus it's not like these were ever really sold in stores so they'll always be that bit harder to come by, unlike say, a JOS 10".

Anyway that's enough ranting from me lol

yea i just found out about the Laytonville address about 10 mins ago. there's one on ebay going for $250

i have the Lookout cardboard reissue and a berkely address on it, which was about $30

and i guess that means my Slappy is a reissue too then

which also must mean my Sweet Children is....

awe god, this sucks.

*dreams shattered* i need real money.

but what about the LP's? i payed $75 that one better not be a reissue!

Oh, there's loads of rare stuff in my collection, with many of the vinyls being among the rarest. None of the vinyls are in the picture below, and I didn't have the time to photograph everything. Among the items I think are rarest are:

-Look For Love (Billie Joe 7")

-Early pressings of early singles (on 7")

-Hitchin' A Ride (CD single shaped as a cloud)

-Blood, Sex & Booze (promo CD single)

-Prosthetic Head (promo CD single)

...and probably much more. I'll try to make a list and add more pictures later.

that's a great collection, i also see some bootlegs in there.

Thanks a lot! There's around 45-50 bootlegs (silver pressed) in the "big box", and then there's the box at the lower right end of the picture that contains live shows on CD-R (all from FLAC-sources).

I don't think what I have is rare, but I guess I'll find out.

I have a Green Day charm bracelet that I bought in 2004. It has the Warning symbol on it, Kerplunk flower, a missile from AI, a four leaf clover, and a hand grenade shaped like a heart. Does anybody else have the same bracelet?

Aw that sounds lush ^_^ Is it official merch or?

I really don't think I have anything rare! I have an American Idiot pendant of the heart grenade and that is the most exciting thing really and probably mass-produced and not rare in the slightest!

I've had a look on eBay and found some pretty cool stuff:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BRAND-NEW-2-GREEN-DA...id=p3286.c0.m14 - not paticularly rare but I saw a few posts on here on people wanting them :) Bargain too! Personally I want a Green Day hip flask :D

Non-official:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/GREEN-DAY-POSTER-LAR...id=p3286.c0.m14 - I want :D

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/GREEN-DAY-7-BY-5-PER...id=p3286.c0.m14 - Random.

Official or not?

I have the Kiss Me I'm Punk shirt, an American Idiot notebook and pen but I don't think they are very rare. I also had Kiss Me I'm Punk trainers/converse style!

These probably aren't rare but I have the Lonview single, green Day Pint glasses that have the guys pictures on them, a coffee mug, and notebook, pen, folder, paper, post it notes, and two green day rubber braclets. Thsoe are the only things I could think of that are close to being rare that I have.

I got the 1000 hours EP off ebay for 13€. It has the Laytonville address on it. also a picture of Billie, Mike and John. Looks like I made a big bargain :)

^ Yeah, Laytonville is an original. They can go for quite a bit, so I'd say that was a good deal :)

I have a lock of Billie Joe's pubic hair. I don't know if it's considered rare or not cuz he just grew it back. It was from 1995 though.

I also have the limited edition case of 4 shot glasses, there is Billie, Mike, Tre and the Heart Grenade. Not sure how rare those are yet.

Me too, my friend bought them for me in London. Somewhere between 05-06.

Most of the stuff I have are from Cinderblock, including shoes, a blanket, stickers + a lot more

But I have a few things that not everybody have like:

* All the three members in toys.

* A japanese lunch box with the members in cartoons on the outside. I don't think all of you fans out there have that either.

Pfft, think again. I have them. :P I also have the sticker of the graphic on the lunchbox.

OMG! I'm not the only one who collects doubles of things! And isn't that Playing with Matches game easy? :P

I've always wanted the Look for Love EP, but everytime I saw it, it was way out of my price range.

And I STILL bet no one on here has the Green Day Rolling Papers I have. :P

Quite rare, took me a while to get my hands on it :)

I've been collecting on and off since around 1994/1995-ish, don't really know the exact time, but it started sometime between Dookie and Insomniac. Some years very active on collecting stuff, other years very quiet...

^ Ok, then I can't be horribly jealous. I've only been really collecting for about 2 years. Can't wait for you to list all your stuff, it'll help me

I have that, I probably got it about 13 years ago. Back then it wasn't that rare, but now it's becoming more hard to find.

Another one of Green Day's uglier stuff.

Does anyone else have the Green Day 'Kiss Me I'm Punk' Converse style shoes by Tuk?

Surely people must do, I bought them from Hot Topic for christs sake hahahaha

Does anyone know if you can still find "Who the fuck is Tre Cool?" Shirts?
