Jesus*Of*Suburbia Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 I have a 7 inch of 1000 hours/Dry ice with Only of you/the one I want on the B side. Not sure if it is rare or not. I also have a one of a kind custom made shirt from the American Idiot era, I'd say it's rare since there are no others like it, it's strapless with a corset type backing. I also have the limited edition case of 4 shot glasses, there is Billie, Mike, Tre and the Heart Grenade. Not sure how rare those are yet. I also have jewelry that was custom made one of a kind as well.
-Billiejoezee- Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 I was at the DollarTree and on the way out I saw a sticker machine. You know, the kind you put quarters into the slot, push it in and then when you pull the sticker comes out. Anyway they have GD stickers, 15 in all I believe, so I plan in collecting all of them. But really ? The dollar store ? OMG!thats sooo awsome.all they have here is hannah montana stickers.
Ila Reto Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 ^ i have green day vending machine stickers too! from like 3 years ago and i lost most of them in my room I have the second pressing of the Sweet Children Ep with the buggy on the front that's pretty much the rarest thing I have...*drools* me want....wait, what year was the second pressing release? oh and Daniela im gonna look for it on youtube
JHyena86 Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 all they have here is hannah montana stickers.I know...it sucks! I will have to start checking dollar stores for GD though...I want some!I was looking at stuff in my room, and realized I have a poster that might be rare. It's 3D with the guys and some GD designs (heart grenade in hand, smily TV, family with the bear trap, and a man struck by lightning). I've never seen another like it, even online (except the one my friend has, 'cause she bought both at the same time and gave me mine). Apparently she got it at a dollar store around here...Dollar stores seem to be good for GD stuff...

Angela. Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 Hmm... I have a special Bullet In A Bible poster. Only 1,000 total were made. It's pretty cool. But I'm not sure if it qualifies as rare or not...

Rae'n'shine Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 I don't think what I have is rare, but I guess I'll find out.I have a Green Day charm bracelet that I bought in 2004. It has the Warning symbol on it, Kerplunk flower, a missile from AI, a four leaf clover, and a hand grenade shaped like a heart. Does anybody else have the same bracelet?
Brandon R. Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 I saw something Green Day when I went to the Hard Rock Cafe in downtown Washington, D.C. I can't remember what it was though. I'm heading out there this weekend so I'll look at it and remember what it is this time.I mention it because I know it's exclusive/rare and I would love to get my hands on it.Outside becoming manager of the place or grabbing it and running, I don't see that happening.

Kaddi. Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 I have the Slappy EP vinyl... don't know if it's rare though. And uhm... I collect articles from all kinds of magazines, they might be rare in some years
¡VivaLaAndrea! Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 The most rare thing I have is the 21st Century Breakdown vinyl set.I only consider it rare because they only made, what? 3000? I think it was 3,000.I would love the new vinyl set they just put out, but I'm not spending $150. I'd rather save the money and go to concerts.
fashionvictim86 Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 I have a set of Green Day shot glasses and a wall clock. I'm sure other people may have them but since I bought mine I haven't seen any shot glasses anywhere else but I do know of one girl with the same clock.I have a set of the shot glasses too. I also bought a set for my friend.
JHyena86 Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 Me toooo...I found a set for sale on ebay and forgot to bid on them and then couldn't find them the next day. It made me sad...
farley drexel hatcher Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 I got the shot glasses for like 99p for all four from a card shop a few years back
Harriet Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 I got the shot glasses, I use them for weeny glasses of milk
Ila Reto Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 I got the shot glasses, I use them for weeny glasses of milk i'd probably do the same thing. question: how do you know which bootlegs are more rare than others?
Stick Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 I dunno. You can download everything these days. I was pretty suprised to find a live unplugged album. Also I have Insomniac on vinyl, which might not be super rare, but it's quite cool I don't have anything, let alone anything rare. Well, if you count an Ernie Dookie as rare... I have that.lol. I actually haven't seen it without Ernie in stores here.
Psycho Britney Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 I've got a magazine from 1994 that had GD on the front, though I don't think it's rare-just quite old!
Ila Reto Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 collecting vinyls are great....except the feeling of getting stabbed in the heart when you find out that your 1,000 Hours isn't an original...ARE ALL MY VINYLS LIES????!!!i get the high....and then the disapointing crash.
farley drexel hatcher Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 collecting vinyls are great....except the feeling of getting stabbed in the heart when you find out that your 1,000 Hours isn't an original...ARE ALL MY VINYLS LIES????!!!i get the high....and then the disapointing crash. How do you mean, original? Do you mean the first ones printed? Because you would know if you had those; you'd pay a lot for them, and as far as I know all the first pressings (or the first few) are in paper sleeves. If you ever get one with the Laytonville address you've got an original (though so are some with the Berkeley address too). That said though the cardboard sleeve ones are still pretty decent to have, specially if they were Lookout ones as they don't print them anymore, and there's always a chance they're one of the older -reissues. Plus it's not like these were ever really sold in stores so they'll always be that bit harder to come by, unlike say, a JOS 10".Anyway that's enough ranting from me lol
Brian Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 I want everything that is rare and Green Day related. The End.
