(For those of you who don't know what that is, when you call him, instead of hearing the standard ringing, you hear the song Holiday. not to be confused with ringtones, as those are what the receiver of the call hears, not what the caller hears)

I really really don't like doing the whole "Hey i'm from GDA gimme stuff", but some people told me I should go up to him and introduce myself and see if I could get passes. I didn't want to at first, but me and my friends were feeling pretty miserable about sitting out for a few hours in the sun in Phoenix. So i went up to him shook his hand and he said "Did I call you here?" I said, nope, he said "If you want passes you have to win them" - and that was the extent of my conversations. We waited for a little bit and he picked a group of 5 or 6 people, and I walked back to my spot and waited with my friends. He made me feel pretty stupid for even bothering in the first place.

Aw, sorry Andres! I think he does get tired of all the people (including me) trying so hard to get into sound check. My guess is that's why they started calling people in advance at the last round of shows.

oh that's because he first calls the people who won, THEN he gives them to other people. You should have told him you were from GDA! That would be a definite in!

this is pretty cool chris is a total stud in my book. my mom and I talked to him while we waited to go into the soundcheck, we were talking about our first concerts, and I said mine was Hall and Oates lol and his was Van Halen, and then my moms was the Beatles when she was 7. She topped all of ours big time lol
