Mr. Boron Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 J.A.R. definitely deserves it...such a great song, I listen to it so often despite the fact that it's not on any of the studio albums.

November's Storms Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 I think Cigarettes and Valentines has earned the right to be SoTW because of all the activity today!
Florence Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 Yeah!! I totally agree with Stephen. CIGARETTES & VALENTINES should be SoTW! ok. EDIT: Cig. & Val. has been song of the week. 09/07/2010 we need another romantic song... *thinking* What about "It's Fuck Time" ? Yes, I seriously vote for it this week. It's a Foxboro Hot Tubs' song, but it has been performed during a Green Day concert last year. (in Mainz, Germany) and we already had a Foxie song as SoTW (Mother Mary - 5/26/2010) otherwise, JOS would be a good choice for the SoTW.
Guest Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 Tired Of Waiting For You and/or Rotting from Shenanigans I think that they have some really good songs off of this album--of course all of their songs are good off of this album--but for a song that has that rock/melody sound and it's sung quite softly but also powerfully it gets the messages across quite clearly without shouting or belting it out, it should be at least nominated for the pick.
haushinka reject Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 I would love to have either Haushinka or Reject, hence the user name, please.
jos_whatsername Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 hmm why isn't this pinned anymore? JESUS OF SUBURBIA . In honor of Billies Birthday.. he said it's the best song he ever wrote! and i think i agree..
euphoric-pareidolias Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 hmm why isn't this pinned anymore? was wondering the same... still rooting for JOS!!!
November's Storms Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 And root you shall no more! This is gonna be a hell of a SOTW thread when I get around to reading/posting in it! And to continue the trend, is it too much to ask for Homecoming next week?
solongfromthestars Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 Has Viva La Gloria! ever been song of the week? If not, I think that song would provoke a really interesting discussion. I know I could certainly contribute my longest and most heartfelt ever post and I think a few other people could too. I've seen a lot of people saying that song really means something to them.
