I'm a little disapointed, as I wanted East Jesus Nowhere to be the third single and 21st Century Breakdown as the 5th or something (I know) but I hope the video's gonna blow me away. I don't think the song's that great of single material, but I still hope it gets airplay without being shortened. I heard it on the radio about two weeks ago.

so ejn was too much for the media...

there's still one more single left!

they did 4 (5 if you count JOS) last album

I bet there'll be two videos. One with SOTC and one shortened for prime time.

I hope they perform it at the VMAs too.

I was pretty surprised when I heard about this... it just seemed like EJN was gonna be the next single. I do like 21stCB, but I think it's better live than on the album. but I have absolutely no idea what the music video will look like... I hope they use the whole song, but I also hope it's not like the JOS video.

I know.. JOS video is horrible in my opinion!

I'm kinda excited about this, even though I wanted EJN to be the next single. 21st CB is an awesome song :)

Anything goes as long as the band's in it. :P

I love JOS because it's so different. But that concept would never work with 21CB. They're two totally different songs.

The more and more I think about the potential this video holds, I get more excited. I really hope it defeats KYE and 21 Guns. I hope it's not a let-down. I don't know what to expect from it, though. The song has so much going on, so I don't know if they have a concept in mind, or just a performance video.

Either way, I might just jizz my undies.

I thought East Jesus Nowhere would be the next one. Oh well.. 21CB is also very good. I can't wait to see the new video. I loved the 21 Guns one

I can't wait to see the video for 21st Century Breakdown. I didn't expect this to make it as a single, but it was my first choice since the album came out.

Aaah, hmmmm, I guess this would work. I can see it getting shortened though, looooads...

I bet Billies gonna dye his hair blonde again, like in the Q pictures. It goes alot with the song and would be perfect in a video for it. Plus the first part of the tour is over. I really have a feeling he's gonna go blonde.

have them play in a room full of stacks and stacks of TV's, playing stuff like presidential speeches, the fall of the berlin wall etc.... Then when "The Class of `13" part starts, have all the Tv's explode and have sparks rain down on the band.

^That. But not at "We are the class of - the class of '13"...instead, have all the monitors cut to a montage of the original Woodstock and *then* set off the explosions just as Tre and Mike crank up the rythm at "Raised by the bastards of nineteen-sixty-niiiiiiinnnneeee!!!" :woot:

Yes.. I do have that feeling too..

THAT Would be even better *_* I loooved the hair in the Q pics, and the grammys! And I agree with you.. It would fit so well with this song, I don't know why..

That was a good choice.

I'm still thinking American Eulogy will be a single, and I've always thought The Static Age was a good single song. And now that 21CB is one, I don't think EJN will fit in the normal range of single releases. I dont know, this is just my prediction.

haha I concur with the tv explosion thing

I'm not surprise because TRE HAD ALREADY SAID IT!

wait,what was the b-side for 21 guns??
What was the verizon thing?
wait i made a mistake. it was a studio recording. It looks like the beside was favorite son.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/21_Guns_(song)

@Mari91

I'm looking at Wikipedia right now. "Favorite Son" was the B-side to "21 Guns," while the Verizon Studio 880 Session version of "21 Guns" appeared to be available as a digital download only.
