persons Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 San Jose Had the usuals plus Going to Pasalacqua, a bit from Mother Mary, Murder City, Christie Road and LNOE for the accoustic encore and was just an amazing show over allokay, then i think i will add san jose to my list.
Tripe Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 the reason i didn't put pittsburgh is cuz all of the songs you named were played at sacremento.Yes, but they were played at Pittsburgh first.
persons Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 Yes, but they were played at Pittsburgh first. i know that, but i'm just gonna leave out pittsburgh.
Sharmellow Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 Worst setlists might have been the first two: Seattle and Vancouver. Nothing much going on there.Negative. They played Geek Stink Breath in Seattle and Vancouver. Saskatoon = no rare oldies.
NickD Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 I think people forget that it was Hartford's show that really started the great setlists. If it wasn't for that show, everything else would be the typical without many/any special songs
persons Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 St. Louis should be in there.what was the setlist for that?
mechanical_man Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 what was the setlist for that?We (St. Louis) got 2000LYA, At the Library, Johnny B. Goode, Macy's Day Parade, Coming Clean, and Billie sang a little bit of Alison by Elvis Costello to the girl he 'saved'. I think MSG2 and Sac were probably the top 2 on the tour, but I'd like to throw my support behind St. Louis as being definite top 5.
valentinesandcigs Posted August 27, 2009 Author Posted August 27, 2009 okay now i want funniest moment of the tour lol
fashionvictim86 Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 I really loved that we got Give Me Novacaine at the Philly show. We're the only show that they played that at. We got 2000LYA too and Words I Might Have Ate.

fletcher-999 Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 Personally my favourite setlist so far was the second night at MSG
mary_x3 Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 i definitely think that hartford should be up in the top 5 (of course i'm going to say that because i went to that show) but it had dominated love slave, FOD, christie road, only of you, and it was the first time that last night on earth was played during this tour. and i'm pretty sure that it was one of the longer shows of the tour.
**nobodylikesyou** Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 I almost cried when he started Give Me Novacaine. I really love that song. It's my answer tone on my cell. I would have loved to have heard that one live. That and Christie Road are two of my all time favorites.
deadair Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 I can narrow it down to 2 best setlists-#1 MSG Night #2#2 HoustonBut, DNA Lounge would be #1 if you were counting the smaller pre-tour shows.
GDM Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 I think people forget that it was Hartford's show that really started the great setlists. If it wasn't for that show, everything else would be the typical without many/any special songsBig thumbs up for this comment. Hartford changed everything! Ok, I wouldn't go that far, but it helped a lot.okay now i want funniest moment of the tour lolChickenman stagediving at MSG2. I laughed so hard, I almost cried. Maybe also the storytime about Billie pissing in the closet and flushing the hangar.But... that's just me. And of course, I really don't know what other funny moments happened since I can only go by what people said in the threads.
dallasthemenace Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 houston would definitely be in the top 3-5...-half of dookie was played, in some form or fashion. whether it was the full band, billie acoustic or just singing a verse during a breakdown in a different song...i dont think they played half the dookie record on the dookie tour...-i think it was only the 2nd or 3rd time murder city had been played on the tour. (even though they probably only played it that night 'cause of me, and after houston it seemed to appear more often in the set for the rest of the tour...but they hadnt really been playing it before..)-i also believe houston might've been the first stop where billie did a verse of mother mary, but i could be wrong.-i didnt hear of them doing motley crue riffs anywhere else on the tour-we got a verse of christie road-blood sex and booze.-and GDC was repre-fuckin-senting in force. houston's set pwned.
-Billiejoezee- Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 i don't remember the setlist.L.A,sacramento,and san jose were cool. san diego was cool too.
Tiffx Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 Okay if Sacramento got Who Wrote Holden Caulfield then they got the best by far.
